Paul Reubens' Big Top Pee-wee brought me here! After all these years, I finally found the original song and who sang it.

I just love this beautiful and sophisticated couple. 16 years! They are unequal. I never liked this kind of dancing until I discovered this divine couple. They stand apart from everyone else. Bravo. Brava.

I learned a lot more about someone I already know and admire! She’s also a fantastic communicator and you can see that her heart and brain work in sync for the benefit of whomever she’s interacting with. Yes Carolina!

This was a godsend for me! I started at Arthur Murray in Atlanta and had all the tools at my disposal. When i moved away i tried to make it on my own and have been struggling ever since. I was taught how to understand dance, how to teach it and how to make a business of it. It really prepared me, but now that I’m ready to move on the next stage where do i go? Easy Answer…Arthur Murray! Thanks y’all

What a wonderful interview, Victoria and Carolina! Probably one of my favorites! My husband and I had the privilege of coaching with Carolina at AM Fort Worth awhile back and she has a great way of relating to students to take our dancing to a higher level. So valuable! And, Victoria, it was great to meet you in Dallas a couple of weeks ago for our Spring Dance Challenge. You are a great judge and interviewer as well!

When I saw it, I thought it was ballroom dancing (I’ve been dancing for 13 years). But already at chacha there were a lot of questions about technique and positions. I don't even know the name of the last dance. I understand that this is a completely different direction of dance called “Rhythm”. This is a little similar to the Latin American program, but completely different

I had two left feet, but I admit that ARTHUR MURRAY helped me when I started dating in the 1950’s. Those days girls expected their dates to be good ballroom dancers. Believe that isn’t the case anymore.

This is appalling. Horrible. Rafael Cologne 1988 National Arthur Murray and Theater Arts Champion. Is not merit , it’s gratitude. Your partners and coaches have names… I spent 6 years fixing your legs and feet, and we won The Arthur Murray North American Championship, when it appeared , that her Career was over. I left Fred Astaire , Houston with Linda Dean, and had a fabulous dedicated partner in Nancy Harris, to join Arthur Murray, and this is unimaginable to me. Rafael Cologne.

Ten out of Ten for you maintaining your Scottish Accent. Sensational dancer but you always “fancied your barra” (Scots will know that expression). Not a good thing to blow your own trumpet and say all you’ve done for others. I see you’ve had “work” done. You look like the fantastic Mickey O’Rourke. Nothing wrong with that.

I'm not sure what prompted me to Google Julia this morning but this was a great find. I knew them in those early days when renting a room in Bob's house in North Phoenix in 1992. Great to see them so happy and fulfilled today.

OMG actual American Style Cuban Motion. How very nice you don't seem to have an AS "inferiority complex" that compels you to destroy all your CM and replace it with a bastardized Latin... and go back on your heels and point your toes, LOL. Maybe the pendulum really is swinging the other way, and AS Rhythm dancers will stop dancing Latin and the judges at comps will STOP rewarding this Latin bastardization, and STOP PLACING competitors. Make it so before I croak, please. But, NOTHING CHANGES, unless the TEACHERS KNOW the difference and can TEACH the difference, and don't long for the big swoopy movements of Latin. I would LOVE me a dance with a lead that can do this delicious cuban motion...NOTHING feels like two people moving as ONE in a rumba, cha cha, mambo, or merengue. NOTHING. Bravo.
