Hey there! Hope you are enjoying Morocco as much as you can! Just wanted to point out something: you’ve chosen an Airbnb in a « budget » area and not enjoying the « real » Casablanca since your Airbnb area is a commercial square (gross market called Derb Omar). If you can afford 50/70$ nights, you could have booked a beautiful apartment in Gauthier, Palmiers, Anfa or even Casablanca Finance City. Also, I don’t know if it’s wanted on purpose, but it’s not mandatory to wear a scarf on your head, 🤗, Morocco is waaaay open regarding this. And since you visited only the oldest part of the city, Cafés are mainly visited by men in those area (as if you went to Paris and wanted to take a coffee in Seine-Saint-Denis and not Cafés near Louvre, Montmartre, Champs-Élysées, etc.). I suggest you go for a coffee in Anfa (Paul Zevaco), Maârif (Oliveri) or Palmiers (Paul), you’ll be very surprised by the higher number of women vs men enjoying their coffee, 😄. Thanks!

Wow! What great info thank you! Unfortunately, as full time travelers our budget is very limiting. We were very grateful to find an airbnb for $33 per night and our host was extremely helpful. Hopefully, in a few years we can return when we can afford fancier accommodations and see another side of Morocco. 😀 In the area we were in almost all of the women wore headscarfs, good to know it's not required. 💗 Oh great! Next time we visit Morocco we will visit one of these areas for coffee and as you mentioned stay in a different part of the city. 🏙 Again, thank you for all of your amazing suggestions and information. 💝 Do yo have any sights you recommend we should see next time?

There is no social norms concerning women in coffees, what you said is completely uncorect, coffees are open to everybody without restrictions. Hope you enjoyed your trip

We didn't see a single woman at any of the cafes...what we've learned is that we may have been in the oldest and most traditional part of Morocco? People have said there are areas women may visit cafes...If you have any suggestions we'd love to hear them for next time. 😀 Yes, thank you! We had a nice time and enjoyed the beautiful sights of Casablanca!

@@SandE-adventures yes it can happen, in my opinion next time you should find out about the neighborhoods on google or read the reviews, this neighborhood is commercial, we find the wholesalers, so a lot of noise, and you are lucky because where you are there were 100s of trucks, with the new tram line and the works, the city council sent them elsewhere
@clasheurindependent95478 күн бұрын
@@SandE-adventures next time choose Quartier CFC (casa finance city) or bourgogne or maarif...There are trams, buses, busways, restaurants and cafes nearby, and they are of good quality.

Dino park is a park for kids 😅 but everyone can enjoy it of course! I loved this vlog. Hope you come back to not only Belgrade but as well other beautiful places that we have here. A lot of beautiful mountains, termal waters and spa's, wine tasting, ethno villages, also if you are here during summer you can enjoy yourself on a beach in Ada Ciganlija (in Belgrade) which is filled with restaurants with great food and drinks along the beach. Also in belgrade you have Bohemian quarter Skadarlija street which is filled with life especially during summer.❤
