Gorgeous dial. IMO, best green dial and bezel in the industry. I had one but sold it because it saw lesser wrist time compared to my Sub. Also, the clasp 'jammed' on me not even a year into wearing it. Had to send it back to Omega Service Centre. Even they can't unjam the clasp so they gave me a new clasp. Overall great watch. Just wished the bezel action and bracelet was better.

Ok, so I have this and like it. BUT - try using the bezel under water/when wet. Extremely slippery. Needs more teeth. Such a big miss on an otherwise iconic diver.

The 18 on the bezel is off to the side and needs to be fixed. I can see it on the phone FGS!

Preface: I love both Omega and Rolex. I own and enjoy models from both of them. But why is it that Omega “fan boys” can only ever review an Omega in relation to Rolex? Don’t you get that you’ve already lost if that’s always the comparator? You see Rolex as the bench mark, without realising it!

It's crazy how everybody wanted their watches brought back to new during a service when the materials showed signs of damage (or patina as you describe it), and now that watches are made to last forever, everybody's complaining the watches have lost character. My beef with modern day watches isn't the materials, but that they've grown in size. Sometimes to the extreme. I'm a massive fan of certain neo-vintage watches, because the new ones have just gotten too big.

If you buy any quartz watch.. you fail! you know you won’t keep up on replacing that battery.. get something that really lasts and doesn’t require battery changes.. buy a watch with an automatic movement! It will last longer than you will and can be passed through generations..

Northstar Straps in the UK sell the same Sailcloth straps for less money. Also the length of the Northstar is 125/75 as standard. What I think its a better length.

Frankly, this one came out of the left field and went straight up the number one of all my 30‘ish watches, it basically got 100% of wrist time for the past three weeks. Why? It’s ergonomic. It’s comfortable and it has a damn good lume. The NH35 is a quality automatic movement and has good enough accuracy. I prefer the Steeldive Willard over most of my other watches - including name brand watches like the Speedy and the Zulu Time.

I just Bought the SBGN029 and Love the Quartz movement by GS, I also am waiting for The limited edition Spring Drive SBGE305 GMT. SO I am very much looking forward to acquiring that piece. I’m sure I will love it equally.

I don't believe this is a "Top Grade" Sellita movement, and CW does not advertise it as such. I believe this is an Elabore grade of the 330-2 movement, which would be the same as the one in my CW Aquitane GMT. This is also consistent with the timing tolerances (+/- 20 sec/day) listed in the specifications for both watches. With a full wind, my Aquitane is running between +6 and -2 sec/day, across various positions, which actually falls within COSC specifications. As to the GMT hand, I have a Steinhart GMT watch with colours and design language that mimics the Rolex GMT master in the blue/black ("Batman") colour scheme,. On that watch the GMT hand is completely outlined in blue, which is ridiculously hard to locate at a glance because of its low visual contrast against the black face. By contrast, both the Aquitane and Dune have high-contrast colours (orange on in the case of the Aquitane,) on the GMT hand, which visually lead the eye to the 24 hour bezel or hour-index ring. I think CW got this one absolutely correct!

Industry saved through marketing. It feels empty. A quality watch is no longer a practical tool - it's a status symbol, worn by the wealthy to show each other their status. They have to be made needlessly expensive, because if the commoners could afford them the desirability as a status symbol would be lost.

sapphire cant be buffed out. the scratch will be permanent unless you buy a new one, acrylic will buff out again and again.

I just wish the bezel was aluminum. I don't get the love for ceramic for these. I want the whole watch to wear when im wearing it.

Just got my CW Dune GMT on bracelet. I'm an Omega fan and wanted a gmt for an up coming trip. I chose this Dune because I didn't want a "traditional" looking gmt and this design, size, power reserve, along with the green sold me. Quality punches wayyyyy above the price point. Love the ease of the microadjust on the clasp. Total package watch. Also, this video really helped finalize my decision and purchase. Couldn't be happier. Great video!
