Why don't you just buy a dump trailer for all the work of building one?

Great job. I would have turned the tubing on edge instead of flat. Granted you may have a reason that I just do not see. I would add a couple of plates to prevent going over center on the lift. If you happen to pull just that little bit too far, the bed could come crashing down. Or possibly when dumping a heavy load sliding out the back might bounce it enough for the lift arms to go passed center, and same crash. You may be able to put some kind of stop on the cable or winch to prevent pulling too far. I don't know enough about either to suggest how that might be done.

I have questions about the oven being triple sheeted. If the charcoal compartment is seperate from the main body of the oven, why not put the rockwool in the void between the oven body and the larger barrel?

nice job if you want to carry duck-down pillows or ladies lingerie. its a fail. i got it right on my third attempt. i built a tower on the front a frame and installed a winch which lifted the tray which pivoted at the back end. fail. then i installed a plate beneath the deck to fit an air-jacking bag that runs off the exhaust. fail. it didnt lift it far up enough. i moved the plate back a bit. fail. had trouble lifting a full load of sand. the final try worked perfectly. the pivot point was the axle. i copied what the trailer makers in my city, perth western australia, were doing. the man at loadstar trailers claimed the others copied his version. so did i and supersized some components like pivot points and the back of the frame. the back of the frame will be scraping on the ground when i'm tipping. i was also told that the longer the a frame at the front, the more behaved it is when being towed so i added another 150mm there. the trick is to shovel off from the front then the back becomes heavier than the front and tips. then you drive the trailer backwards, the back of it bites into the ground causing the front section to lift up and even go beyond vertical. nothing stays in the trailer then. the rear lights are recessed so they dont get smashed when tipping. i dont carry ladies lingerie. i carry brick rubble, sand and rocks.

Just wondering if it's worth my time to build a dump body on a trailer that looks like it gan only hold 500 lbs. My trailer is rated for 3000 lbs and would be far more expensive , the trailer shown is more suited for a four wheeler.

Классная штука чтобы пилить видеоролики с пустым прицепом. С нагрузкой работать не будет. Трос порвется первым. Если его заменить на более толстый - и раму погнет. Геометрию нужно было просчитывать. Удачи в изучении сопромата. )))
