It's because sense the collective is in the middle a pilot would see better out the right window than the left one. (Yes the instructor/co pilot seat is on the left but it's not the primary seat)

ATP is absolute garbage!! Total waste of $$$$$ and time... ATP and flight school in general is the worst decision I have ever made!! They conveniently forgot to mention that they have like a 90% drop out rate. All this after they get THOUSANDS of dollars out of you! FUCK ATP AND FUUUUUCK DUMBASS FLIGHT SCHOOL!!

Anyone who has any real experience in the industry would say just avoid ATP. They have no problem dropping students, they couldn’t care less about students, ultra expensive and offer zero flexibility (they own you and your time). They also don’t pay their CFI’s jack sh*t, $18/hr for 100 hours a month is a gigantic pay cut from a regular 160 hours a month at $25/hr. Just go to a regular Part 61 school for say $54k (versus ATP’s $96k+) take a loan from AOPA, get your PPL, IFR, CTP and CFI in 3 months. Become an independent CFI + CFII and MEI, charge $65/hr and you’ll be competitive, in control of your schedule and on a comfortable wage. Plus you’ll be able to build FT a lot faster especially if you do 3 hour blocks 😉

I have a question I'm trying to learn. so when you leave the school and you graduate will you actually have your commercial pilot licensed for that price $80,000 or so !

Where you getting these quotes? I just talked to atp yesterday and they told me it'll cost over $200,000 for the zero time program

I wish I could post a screenshot in the comments but what you're telling me is a fraction of the costs atp finance and admissions told me. As a military with education benefits, they only pay so much and still left me with $180k out of pocket/loans
