Would love to know the title of the song that Casey Jane sang sound the evening campfire. She sang, “Momma, she raised me on horseback.”

Oregon is a joke. You finally get housing and then that's it. There's no level up.Once you finally get a government apartment ,they think that's it. But you still deal with the discrimination from Healthcare providers that don't give you care,non-existent mental health so don't bother you better just toughen up,and don't expect help with Anything else at all because your on your own. Once you get a government apartment then you are isolated there as to tell you your being kept out of society by making it to where your stuck in a room with no way out...I've been stuck in this room going on 6 years and can't even get to a food bank so don't tell me they care about people who are trying. They just want you to disappear and they do nothing!!!! They also think you don't matter if your in government housing so they can treat you anyway they want. There a bunch of douchbags ,especially to women.

Born & raised in Oregon and went to Univ of O. Odd that I never heard of Dr. Luther Cressman before. Thank you for this great documentary. Another oddity: You can still find it written that the first Native Americans came south through the Ice-Free Corridor as if it was gospel, even though Cressman's evidence shows those ancestors came south before the Corridor opened. Then how did they come south, you may ask? Had to have been along the coast.

How exactly is releasing 2.4 million cubic yards of sediment down stream not an ecological disaster. This whole thing was poorly managed.

For me that's a good reason for staying out of the ocean but of course i'm old and couldn't swim too far anyway so unless i'm a passenger on a boat that just sank out there i won't see them but it would be interesting to see them. Happened to be on a small cruise in the Johnson straight i think in the 1990's and did see one or two live orcas but on shore excursions allowed us to see orcas represented on several totem poles. Didn't see 1 cookie cutter at all.

The Glacier is growing because the mountain lost it's top and building Glaciers cane take decades to hundreds of years as gravity is pulling the ice and water down slope and the heat of the volcano is melting some of it requiring layers of ash and dirt to cover the snow to build up layers, so the mountain is simply building back up what was lost when it erupted, this has nothing at all to do with climate change on either side of the debate.

Does GP put any funds into rental assistance or even minimal assistance for homeless people? Does the mission receive funds from the city? So, taxpayers will be footing the substantial bill for jailing these people, instead of providing some basic assistance. Which would be less costly.

I’m in Washington State but raised in Oregon and lived in Portland for 3 years before moving back here to Washington. Wish I lived closer. I have some nice cloths for work I’d love to donate to those women seeking employment. Thank you for you subject of todays podcast! Blessings to all. Kathy
