@@hudsonsfishingadventures same, do the trout in the Guadalupe die off every year when it gets hot or do they just go in deep spots of the river because I am going up there in June and I wanted to see if I could catch some still

@@WadeSpurgeonI went with a guide once years ago, and he said Texas Parks and Wildlife did a test, and said 80% on average die off around late May, but 20%, typically the biggest oldest ones, make it year round. I would give it a shot, just fish slow moving lures really deep, I caught my biggest Rainbow on the guad on a rooster tail in deep water

Yep, you are right! I just refer to all those type of spin lures as Rooster Tails, because that is what I fish with the most

@@hudsonsfishingadventures Mepps and blue fox are my favorite. They are kind of heavier than Panther Martin or rooster tails that i find too light to cast far. But they are as deadly especially the Panther Martin. I will look for lures next winter when the water is low. Thxs for the tip 👍🏻
