I had an E1 for about 5 years, blew the gearbox, so went and bought another E1, same colour, but with the 4 pot nissins! I love them. A little uncomfortable if riden slow, but bags of power and really forgiving when the poo hits the fan

I had one of these in 1999 It was a GREAT Bike. A bit on the heavy side. And not Quite an all out sports bike for its engine size.. (BUT it went like HELL) AND it was So Comfy to ride Id Always keep up with bikes like the R1.. GSXR750s and the Fireblades... BUT !! To be honest it was bloody hard work. An all round FANTASTIC Bike..

A lot a negative comments here ,so let me change that ..zx9r a powerful machine,i ride acD7 zzr1100 ,old ,but powerful,zx9r almost same power ,but way lighter,not an R1,which origionally changed d whole game ,but at d end if d day ,y love bikes,we love bikes

I just sold a 10R to make room for a 9R......I'm an old fart and have almost made 60!! I inherited an 01 9R that has been in a dining room for 22 years!!!!! Basically delivery mileage on the the bike.....I'm so pumped......listen to this thing!

Not sure if there in Taiwan you use kilometres or miles, but if it helps my 2001 ZX9R makes 7'5 litres for 100 km. About 250-260 kms per tank, combining city, backroads and highway.

Factory claims about 280-290 I believe. I’ve had around 270-280 on the speedometer. Pretty fast considering it’s over 25 years old.

Yes it’s on the chin. Depending on what helmet you have, you can buy a mount which sticks to the chin, or you buy a strap (what I have) and then you just screw the GoPro on there. Hope this helps 👍🏻

That oldschool Ducati sound is so nice. Many years ago we were riding with work mates in the twisties, 5 bikes and I was at the end with a 1998 M750. Guy at the front had a Hayabusa and he said he didn't hear anyone except mine the whole ride :D It was a loud girl.
