No…there is a reproduction element involved but not in the way you are thinking. There is nothing outright sexual about the Aliens in this movie.

I really need to make sure I stress that when talking about this movie, cause I do agree with that. I’m just a big Spider-Nerd. Remove “Kraven” and this seems like it could be interesting idea and movie.

I’m a disney fan… I watched disney princesses when i was a kid and I gotta say when disney says they are gonna do a live action a part of me will always expect something similarly close to the original. I can still enjoy the changes when they do release the live actions because hey it’s already there but i also get where people are coming from when they feel a bit disappointed. although the live action showcases some nostalgic scenes part of me still distinguish that it’s now a different one from the original. It’s not about being politically correct in fact i hate when they bring a subtle political movement to these movies. stories may have elements of political stance to it but we shouldn’t come to a point where we input every relevant political ideology as of date to a story that has its own origin that brings back what was relevant in the past to a point of the movie becoming a political movie and not a fairy tale movie anymore. a movie like snow white has its own essence and maybe it showcases what type of women there was before it’s not like there’s no value we can gain from women before. snow white represents femininity, gentleness, kindness and leadership in the way she teaches the dwarves in the house and there’s a essential quality in that type of leadership. While this trailer came out nicely and disney listened to what people wanted the point isn’t to simply go to extremes of making those dwarves diverse or going all digital. the point is that disney can still do better. CGI is very helpful but you can feel the cgi dwarves gives a certain robotic feel to them. It would be interesting to see if disney gave as much life in a movie as possible and cgi to what cannot. Again I see the beauty in this trailer but i don’t think we should invalidate those who are disappointed with it because there are in fact changes that are quite different from the important aspects of the film.

Besides, even if Disney wanted to do a movie super close to the original iconic animated film, it wouldn't be possible, since a cartoon version will regardless be "different" from a live action adaptation. Overall it seems they tried at least to fix it in order to make it more similar to the classic fairy tale look after all the criticism, with the help of bright colors as well this time, plus the beautiful musical aspect did the rest, adding a bit of magic...last not least they've kept the romantic factor too it seems, cool.😘💘🌈 That said, I'd have still preferred less CGI, y'know to make it more similar to fantasy movies as Wonka has been, a little more grounded in reality, but I get that Disney has chosen this approach for its live actions, therefore I shouldn't be surprised.😉🍎🌸🦌🐦

Hans Christian Andersen, the author of the original story, is Danish so when writing the Atlantians, he used the Danish people as a point of reference. The animated Ariel was also carribean, hint their being a Carribean crab and music in the movie. Rachel is white. Learn the difference between race, ethnicity, and nationality. Latina isn't a race, Rachel is racially white. You're just racist. Hope this help!

Her mother is Colombian, Colombian's generally speaking are 56% Amerindian, 41% white European and 8% sub Saharan African, and her mom is also in fact of a darker phenotype - not just dark eyes and hair but features that are NOT entirely Caucasian, and skin that is not fair. So that would make her at most 70% white, which is in fact less racially white than Chileans, Argentineans and Uruguayans where the European DNA is 75%-85%

I knew of her, I have yet to see Shiva Baby or Bottoms but I saw Bodies Bodies Bodies…like the story, couldn’t stand the Gen-Zness of it. She was good in it though. - Robert

@@Cinefanatics shiva baby is good one of the best dark comedies you’ll see in years and tense I enjoyed bottoms because it was straight comedy and you don’t get that nowadys but you’ll enjoy both

Agreed. I love what it set up from the trailer but at least the first 2/3 of the movie didn’t really expand on that set up. I’m disappointed that a prolific actress like Hayley Mills was used in a throwaway role.
