Very good comparison , I'm in the market now and I'm between the Howa 1500 and Tikka T3x .
@jimpalmer491610 ай бұрын
Never had a Tika but I have various Howas and Weatherby Vanguards. These rifles are very accurate and very well made. My Howa 1500 243 doesn't care if it's a Remington or winchester 100 grain softpoint. This rifle doesn't need reloading for extreme accuracy. If you will wait for 15 minutes between shots, it'll poke a single jagged hole at 100 yards. These barrels need to cool and retract for optimum accuracy. Every single rifle from howa and Weatherby Vanguards are made in the same place in Japan. Excellent rifles.

Hey mate, if you still don’t like it I’d be interested in buying it off you
I suggest you dont try to understand how the trigger works then,i dont have this problem with my pro varmit a22r at all,you must have got a lemon id say,just a bad batch of them. I did hear they had a few batches with factory faults when they first came out? My one is new,ive had no problems with it whatsoever, ive put at least 3000 rounds of cci mini mags through it and have not had a single jam or misfire,nothing. Bad luck you got a lemon dude,these are great rifles for the price i paid=$550.00. Oh and the rotary magazines are much better now than the earlier ones like you obviously have,and ive put a lighter spring on the trigger,its now at approximately 2lb instead of 5lb,huge difference.

This whole review is literally the opposite of what my experience is. I own 4 TT’s and 3 S&B’s and the TT blows the S&B out of the water. The CA on the S&B is crazy with the “hues” of purple outlining images. Still nice scopes and I enjoy them, but no one imo has de-crowned the TT (I own/owned ZCO, S&B, TT, Leupold, NF, March, and lastly the worst of them all Kahles) Can’t get use to that damn parallax being on the top turret

Its not a garbage rifle just because its been made so you cant easily modify it to be a semi-automatic rifle,in fact these savage rifles are very accurate and reliable if you look after them. The Savage A22 has many safety issues. Bad safety bad lock on magazine. CABBELAS IS DUMPING THEM AT $50 OFF. I don't like the magazines. They are plastic version ruger mags. I do not think Savage knows how to design a semi-auto. Bolt B22 might be ok.

It was probably an early stage Gen 2 product you see in the shop. For this kind of comparison you need to have both scopes in line or at least with some video or photo to show the difference. It's hard to convince people when you only have one in hand without proof. Have something like this www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/alpha-scope-review-zero-compromise-tangent-theta-schmidt.6923960/#post-7490461 or video like this kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eLOairV9mM_Tlps.html to help others to understand what you see.

Not a firing pin or a guiding rod, it is the recoil spring and assembly. You may not have had retaining pin seated in position after you have cleaned the rifle.
