Some aspects of this game look very similar to Nebulous: Fleet command, but at the same time these games are very different! This has a lot of things Nebulous doesn't have, and nebulous has many things that wouldn't really work with this kind of game. Not to mention the huge thematic differences; Nebulous being a sci-fi game in outer space, and this being based off of real life, taking place in a very real world.

I remember failing one of my training missions in Fleet Command and receiving a very stern debriefing. I accidentally blow up a cruise liner. Remember to identity your tracks people!

I really hope they allow extensive modding support, because their previous game(cold water) doesn't officially allow mod support but some insanely dedicated players manage to make it work and until today,i still play that game and love every aspect of it

Oh a Warno day is a great day,

AO (Area of operations) mode in Army general would be nice. So you could send troops to another player AO and they gain control of it. Easy way to divy up supply and not have to spread attention everywhere.

ouch = that was painful! if it weren't so late in the Campaign, I'd consider a class of BB's on the biggest hull you have and fill it with 16" VERY punchy shells. 4x 16" Quads will bring the pain <5 if you can get away with it! and a strong secondary of equally punchy 8" ones 6x 8" triples if they'll fit otherwise 8x 8" Twins should do nicely. large shell compliment so you don't worry about running out of bullets mid battle. since the Italians want to run around with Battle Bricks, counter them with armored Cruisers hosting really long ranged Torpedoes. fast as all hell, 2x 9" singles of highly punchy to meet gun requirements. and 6x 6" Ma Bell secondaries for DD Swatting that can reach out and touch someone! 6x quint Torp launchers spread around the hull for a 15 torp spread. <reloads optional.> spacious Crew Comp for good measure.

Its looking like you'll be able to get some kills on those juicy support units in the East German back lines. Just be careful near Lauterbach there is an extremely powerful armored group with T-80UDs in it. It has an attack stat of 24.

I've played so much of Cold Waters and the DOT mod. I am so excited for this game. If anyone hasn't played Cold Waters I strongly recommend it. It is hands down the best "modern" sub simulator out there. It's not as in depth as I'd like, but its very very good.

Looks like they did for Harpoon 2 what they did with Cold Waters for Red Storm Rising ... .

Dude who was asking fort Igla isn't really wrong/ Even tho it is not considered full copy, Igla is pretty much direct copy of stinger that uses different targeting method due to difference in techologies

Its more about the amount of shells you can put in the air, like a lot of 14/15 inch guns will decemate anything.

Im starting to think that the reason 17+ inch guns dont work well for you is cause of the mods youre running. In all my campaigns i played recently i build 20.9 inch giga battleships and some cursed 18.9 inch battlecruisers and they always performed amazingly, and i play vanilla. Im pretty sure 1 reason could also be the accuracy rework they did (Very dummy btw idk who genuinely liked those changes) but otherwise i couldnt tell you why :O

I hope we could play with countries that are not USA.
