How do you clean out that concrete mixer after the job?
@beauhartwick89272 ай бұрын
The wax is a really good idea. I use duct tape on the panels in the mixer to prevent the buildup on it. Other than that the best way is to have someone scrape it out manually which sucks

good video. something i always tell people who work with acetone is to read the SDS or MSDS sheet before hand. once you realize the damage it can do to your reproductive system most people choose to protect themselves with some sort of PPE.

Hey guys, we apply exactly the same way in Europe - it’s really a perfect step-by-step installation manual for beginners with cool explanations and experienced working methods - you made a good job! Anyway it’s necessary to say - the rubber surfaces are not easy to apply and by the installation there are many aspects (weather, temperature, humidity), affecting the final form and your success!

Hi Guys , I am from South Africa. Have you ever used a standard concrete mixer to mix crumb and binder. We don’t have smaller pan mixers available her. Just monsters that are not convenient to transport from site to site
@anthonyriutta88803 жыл бұрын
I heard you cannot use cement mixer, but I don’t know for sure. I use a hand held paddle mixer, and if you have a double paddle mixer you can mix fairly large batches. At least this is what I found out!

I'm looking into doing wetpour driveways in central Florida. Would you be willing to share some specifics of materials with me? What would you use for the PU and at what percentage? I plan to start with my own driveway as a test and I can get crumb rubber from a local tire recycler for $140 per 2000 lbs. Can I skip the epdm layer for a driveway if I'm using 20% PU? Haha thanks if you can help theres no complete info out there.
@pistnbroke654 жыл бұрын
@@22thevoice22 We don't apply to driveways but lots of others do. Turning action ,snow removal... I would suggest adding a bit of colour 10-20% We use Aliphatic resin from Sparton enterprises.$200 usd/20kgs. Aromatic would work with black but can be a challenge as it cures fast so no going back to touch up trowel marks etc. Our ratio for resin/rubber is 12.5%. We always prime the entire surface. Cheers

Don, thanks for your fast reply, one more question from a pro, what’s the difference in using Dibasic and diesel ? Is there something special about Dibasic, cuz I’ve used diesel but have had trouble with epdm surface pores reopening after application?
