A composition that makes a great impression.

"Rota" was created by one of the best Polish poets ever, Maria Konopnicka, in 1909. Back then Poland didn't exist on the map and was reborn 9 years later after World War I, immidiately after being attacked by The Sovietr Union and defeating it against all odds in a battle that's being called in Poland "The Miracle Near Vistula River". Vistula being a River going through Warsaw, a capital of Poland which was being defended in that very battle. That very song arguably inspired the Silesian to raise against their oppressors just after Poland was reborn in an uprising to rejoin Poland. *THE ONLY SUCCESSFUL UPRISING IN ENTRIRE HISTORY OF POLAND!* Silesians have defeated their oppressors and have joined Poland soon after. So yeah, this song is not just words. Many consider it second best to our national anthem only. Some even claim "Rota" should be our national anthem. But imagine Germans playing our anthem during some sport event and hearing we will not let them spit in our faces nor germanize our childern... XD
