For the hatches, don't leave them closed - air them out so they dry in the sun after use. I have a Whaler - but my next boat is going to be a Robalo because of the Yami outboard.

I cant verify on your canal there but 99% of canals in the keys cannot have a full fish carcass tossed in. it s a horrible habit. Bacteria is the only this that ultimately gets rid of them and not fish. Not that many scavengers. Once the bacteria get set in good it will discourage fish from touching that carcass and as soon at it touched the bottom it started taking on bacteria. Take your carcass well out to the sea. I freeze mine and take out next time I Jig and toss first to appease the shark gods that day. Same goes for lobster heads. Don't ruin a canal for your neighbors. Some people like to swim in them. If you would not toss it in a pool don't toss it in a canal.

Great videos. I have a 22 Cayman 246 and love watching your upgrade videos. What size Yeti do you have under the seat and did you have to make any modifications so 8t would fit?
@GULF2BAYАй бұрын
Thanks Sean, the ice chest I use is the RTIC 65 QT. It was the only one that would fit without any modifications. I have a yeti 65 too but it’s just slightly bigger and would not fit under the seat. If you get one make sure to check the dimensions because they change the styles up every year.
