Thanks for the in depth analysis. HH has been my favourite trailer so far. I never played HH in World/Ice, only in Rise. After watching your awesome guide I started World from the beginning with HH and it feels really fun to play.

yesterday i was playing with my friend and we had a really really bad time agaisn´t teostra, then a Hunting Horn player appearead, and DAMN, his gameplay was soo good, that we just couldn´t stop giving him compliments and seeing how well performing he was doing, he saved us from stuns and deaths, also buffed and healed us. For yall who play hunting horn and like the weapon, please, dont stop, its just beautiful too watch, and be with you .

Seems like the drum horns have a little drumstick that actually hits the drum now rather than just magically playing during a performance. I think the tigrex horn was the only one that had a drumstick before.

It's good to hear your voice. If you want to do guides with an AI voice or your own voice, some of us wont mind, its your shot. Although i prefer the ai voice because i cant keep up with different accents and your speech speed is kinda fast. 😅 Btw since wilds is on the horizon, will you still do worlds weapon guide?

Melodic slap was more like a short up slap with a sonic wave bubble at the end but had shorter range than overhead slam.

To me, it looks like the horn they're using at the start has the "sonic waves" melody effect. At 10:12, the SFX while the hunter is proccing multiple echo bubbles sounds to me exactly the same as the sonic bomb / sonic waves effect from World - not sure if that means anything or if it's just a reused asset (though I wouldn't expect that they would simply remove sonic waves as a mechanic entirely and then reuse the SFX for something else?) My current guess is that playing any melody in range of an echo bubble will cause a shockwave effect, as well as another stack of whatever melody you're playing?

Ive found that a good combo starter is to turn around and hit a neutral super pound aka the Griffted. Decent wakeup attack too if your horn doesnt have echo waves

24:44 That is a MHGU hunter skill called Sonic Smash. In GU, the skill does a double spin combo into a point blank shockwave finisher. It was mainly used for defensive usage because of the high KO/exhaust motion values. Seems they change the finisher distance to be long range in Wilds. Great breakdown video, handsome. I think you express yourself really well! If you followed a script for your guides and used your own voice I think they would work just as well and feel more personal. Although the AI voice works great because of its clarity and clinical nature. Obviously is up to you but I'd encourage you to try out recording you rigid script at least once with your voice, I think you'd improve the result over the AI voice. Perhaps with a shorter guide, it's quite a lot of work anyways. Thank you for your excellent content for World, you've helped me inmensely with getting into the game when starting this year. Looking forward to your videos for Wilds!

Performance/encore animations seem much faster overall. A side-by-side animation comparison would be nice in the future once we can see the full movesets.

The first recital started with 2 echo-waves followed by an encore. But later in the video another recital only started with 1 echo-wave. Could the number of recital echo-waves correspond to the number of buffs played? This would encourage stacking songs for more upfront burst damage. Also, I believe the 30 damage numbers are echo-bubbles during a recital/encore. The last two hit combo in the encore appears to do 2 regular hits (18 + 32), 1 shock-wave (9), 1 echo-wave (46) and 2 echo-bubbles (30 + 30)

Guide is decent, but unnecessarily lengthy some things can be explained quicker without dragging it on for so long. My biggest complaint is the AI voice. I really wish you were just talking yourself but I get not having that kind of confidence to put yourself out there online. I did learn a couple of things that really changed how I play my HH character and I am grateful for that!
