Searching for Rebel 1100 content came across your Bills Cycle purchase. I also live in Winnipeg and own a 2021 Rebel 1100 purchased from Bills. I have viewed your consistent improvements since your first ride. Bravo from Greg.

Hello Ron, hey those small PE parts could signify a brass part. It may be a cover for communications. The cover for that equipment on US ships were brass. I should know I had to shine a lot of things like that. It's basically a pipe you would talk into one end and listen on the other. Hope this helps

Morning Ron, well when I have to paint something as delicate as this, I use LOW-TAC double sided sticky Tape, that is stuck to a small wooden Ice Cream spoon,,! Spray the said part, let it dry and then detach the part and off you go..Hope this helps..(Its helped me) Model on my good man.

Hi Jim I totally agree! Sometimes I think that the kit manufacturers put a lot of unnecessary photo etch in their kit just so that they can advertise that they have a lot of photo etch to try and make people think it's a high quality kit. In a way it is a high quality kit but, I think there is an awful lot of very unnecessary work involved because of photo edge. I'm not a big fan of it, that's for sure. 👍

Hi Ron, good problem solving bending that frame to shape! Just for next time, for small bends like the 'L' shape ones you were trying to make, you might have more joy using the 'finger' side of Andy's photo etch bender, instead of the long straight edge configuration you have it in now. Also don't worry about trying to ensure the bending line is on the flat plate, sometimes you use the sides, the back...whatever you can just to fit the thing in such a way all (or most) bends can be done using the clamp. This isn’t too dissimilar to how you use the hinge which of course has no plate. Have a great day.

Gabe "....might be able to bring along some show and tell." ......and muffins.😊 "..... enough talks....lets have some action!" That was funny. I was on the edge of my chair through that complete bending thing. Would applying that solder with a round toothpick be any easier to place a little on each side of the connection than trying to place the whole glob on top? Like just rolling on a little at a time off a toothpick. See ya. JimE
