Looked like a good route, not full of trucks. Coming down through the Tado shrine area must’ve saved some distance tooo I’m guessing.

Yeah no too many sketchy moments and it was very scenic through the mountains. We did try and take the backroads coming into Nagoya, little more interesting rather than the main drag.

So quiet on the east coast route. any bike shops in case of emergency?
@laurie.alfio.cycles
@laurie.alfio.cycles 11 ай бұрын
There are some quiet parts without shops but there are options in every main town/city. It would recommend bringing as many inner tubes as possible, those pot holes can really ruin your day!

cool video where did you stay? I plan on doing something similar next month and I'd like to go as light as possible without carrying around a U-Lock. I heard some motels/guest houses allow bicycles indoors. I'd hate to have to leave my road bike outside where I can't see it. :(

Hey man, yeah every hotel I stayed in had no problems with me keeping my bike in the room. Usually Korean hotel rooms are pretty big 👍

Been enjoying watching your video series, thank you for posting it. In this episode, we learned that you speak Korean - how cool is that? Where/how did you learn to speak the language? (later in video) Okay, you've been living in Seoul for 7 years, but did you learn to speak Korean before living in Seoul?

Thanks for the vid.
