Man what a beautiful rig you got there! Love that M11 sound! Are you going to do anything to the exhaust to make it louder? If possible, can you please do some super long (5-6 hour) ASMR videos on this truck? Please make sure to begin the ASMR videos with engine startup, shift at high RPM's, and end the videos with engine shutdown. ASMR videos help me fall asleep at night, and I'd love a ton on this truck, since I want to pretend I'm taking this beast out for a full day of hauling loads, plus the M11 Cummins is one of my favorite engines! Please let me know ASAP.

It will haul that weight fine, any big hills probably 5-6percent grade pulls me down to 50-60 loaded to 90,000, but overall impressed with engine. It gets good fuel mileage, around 6 pulling 45 tons and moving around to fields.

That's a good looking tractor. Dad had an 8N then a Ford 4000 3 cylinder, my uncle had a 3020 John Deere and various smaller Fords...3000, 861 Powermaster, etc. One day in the 1980s rode with a friend in a JD 4430 or 40, cab ac radio, didn't even seem like work haha. Great old tractors.

To me the Row Crop 5000s had the square fenders and the flat deck, the General Purpose had the rounded fenders and the saddle deck, but I could be wrong... Dad had a 1966 4000 utility tractor, 3 cylinder split-grille blue paint. He traded in an 8N on it, both were great old tractors!
@fordfarmer89 Жыл бұрын
Yes I believe your correct, row crops were flat decks, general purpose we're saddle decks. All timeless machines, your dad must of felt like he could take over the world upgrading to a 4000! Thanks for watching!

How much were you grossing? I feel like while the M11 revs a little high in between shift points, it seems to be able to stay out of its own way for the most part.
@fordfarmer892 жыл бұрын
Just short of 92000. I'm actually very pleased with it's performance. It is originally a 330e model but had it rerated to 370 which put a little more fuel up top.
