Vet hustle nation sounds cheasy. Hustle is over used almost as much as nation. There is no reason to call it a nation unless you are absolutely huge. Even then it makes you sound like some conservative AM radio show from 1991.

I did "Boots2business" online program recently , it was a very basic course, I think it's resourceful for sure. they have other "step up" classes to elevate your knowledge on business owning.

I never used my GI. Financial aid paid for my AA since I was a single parent. I’m past the 10 year mark and now my kids are in College. Can I use the GI Bill still? I’d like to use the money to educate children each school year state wide to nationwide to worldwide. What happens to the unused GI Bill and can I get it back?

Hey Brian! I was in the Marine Corps as well and am a 100% perm and total service connected disabled veteran. I just turned 41 years old just 3 days ago. I tried going to college multiple times and just couldn't finish because of not being able to cope with certain stressors going on at different phases of my recovery with one of my various conditions. I was hospitalized every 3 weeks for 6 months during a nursing program for an autoimmune disease that wasn't managed with medications at the levels they needed to be at yet and was promised a medical withdrawal where I wouldn't be affected at all, but a week later I was blindsided with a letter saying per policy I was being dismissed from the college as well as having all my grades changed to failing grades. It said I could try and apply, but not promised to be accepted in the future. They completely lied to me while at home on bedrest and destroyed my career dream and reputation by turning my 4.0 into all F's. This doesn't feel right or legal. I feel totally discriminated against and I was using voc rehab benefits. They also said in the letter in a rather snarky tone that they would put in my dismissal that it was due to medical reasons, but the outcome would remain the same meaning my grades would be ruined and wouldn't be allowed back. How vindictive and terrible. I feel like I have a whole new level of PTSD and trauma because I can't stop thinking about it, I'm in disbelief about being kicked out for being sick, they were so good to me in the beginning, but then kicked me right out with several letters with matter of fact tone versus compassion. I've never been treated so badly in my life. I saw several attorneys that are willing to take the case on pro bono. I'm also in the process of talking to the ACLU about it because of this being a civil rights type of case. I feel that I couldn't go back after being totally lied to and treated like trash so this business loan idea looks very hopeful to me. Before I was totally depressed and was worried I would never get to work again in a meaningful area and would die in regret something I dreaded thinking about. The dean on the first phone call that said I would be allowed back after my medication for gout was adjusted to the proper levels so I wouldn't have anymore flareups that were so bad I couldn't even stand up or bear weight. I was given valium and morphine directly in my iv every visit it was so bad. Then was sent home with valium as a muscle relaxer. This was going on every 3 to 4 weeks. I was in so much pain. My medication has been adjusted and once I am flareup free for 6 months I will pursue this option. This is a great option for us that also helps build small business into communities. I like the veteran business model. We have a lot of small veteran businesses that do great here in Wisconsin. Take care! Chris, Wisconsin

First I’d like to thank you for putting this together, so thanks to you and Jim both. Currently work for a prime that is contracted to sustain and build IT networks work for the MDA. My question just after I lay a few things out. One, I hold a clearance. Two & 3, I was born deaf and was just accepted through VR. I’ve been givin the thought that VR might be able to help fund, coordinate paperwork and apply to IT contacts for our GOV. Do you folks think it’s work my time to persue a Gov contract? Being experienced in IT, experience with the Gov customer and, being disabled with Vocational Rehabilitations support. Would I be a potential contractor? Thanks!

I can’t say how much this has helped me! The thing with Veterans is if we know someone can do it, we know we can. I have been in VR&E for awhile. I’ve been going to school and no real luck. I’m struggling and school seems less and like like my solution. I have realized I am an entrepreneur at heart. My Grandfather(Vietnam Veteran) was aswell and I know this is the path for me.

Zimmerman Hello! I just tuned into your channel. I was very happy to see the amount of info that you give it is great! I notice that most of your content is on Financial solution and how to obtain Business Grant. I have to also share my Experience here. I was searching online early January on how to secure grants to start up a my business, luckily to me i was recommend to a Well Experience and License grant Agent that help me out. Expert Mighty was the one that help me apply and i got approved for a business grant. His Charges was cheap and affordable.

So I have a question? I am currently using Voc Rehab to go to school for my digital cinematography degree. I want to start my own production company. And I don’t know where to start. I’m already using Voc rehab to pay for school. Am I still eligible for assistance for self-employment through Voc Rehab, or are there other avenues I can go about? Any help or resources would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Good afternoon Brian, i just started my veteran owned landscaping company,, we are already up and running with a decent amount of large commercial contracts secured, my issuse is i have funded everything out of pocket and im nearly out of money... do you help vets secure grants?? im defintely going to check out the 2 programs u mentioned, my issue is im working 7 day a wk at my company and then cleaning a local gym from 11p-230a every evening and from 6p-10p on sat and sunday....slowly turning into a zombie...any help would be greatly appreciated..... U just got a subscriber! I hv been looking for grants for my downtown home cooking business and mobile hairbraiding business. I started this side husstles after having baby number 4amd a tough pregnancy that made me quit my job. Am blessed to be here. I finally got help from Expert Mighty after seen his recommendation here.

I was able to finished my undergrad in public safety administration but sadly mg degree has not allowed me a true chance of gainful employment. So now I’m thinking about a trade or perhaps a small business but with lack of funds and the va having so much red tape things get complicated

I don’t like how the VA makes self employment so limiting, if that’s the route you want to go, they should help with that.

Great information Brian! Im a veteran and currently work as a nurse here in Las Vegas, NV. I work with Veterans now with PTSD and with other mental health issues. I would love to help the overwhelmed hospital here and be able to open a resource center or even a day program for Veterans to go to for help. Any suggestions on where to begin?

To make a long story short I'm trying to start up a small business myself and I think it was an absolute blessing hearing this. I keep it real because I've learned the hard way which is a blessing as well too I guess. To make a long story short I'm a graduate student going for my Master's degree and have already earned my Bachelor's in Business Concentration in Finance from Devry University. One of my two brothers actually owns his own business and is doing great and has been doing great for a while. So semper fi and one last thing I gave the video a like of course and bookmarked the video it's only 307am and y'all made my day already. You and your fam take care now and Oorah!

Catagory (1) for "most severe"? This kind of regulation designed to be so vague without regulatory definition makes the paper it's written on worthless. Is this simply a tool of decline without representation?

Is the 25k that is law the minimum or maximum amount? Is that number including the cost of all resources needed for the business?(equipment, consulting, etc) because in the video and from other sources ive heard it can go beyond that depending on the counselor. How long do they pay the 25k for? If it can go beyond that is it too much to ask for multiple consultants to help with the launch and success of your business overtime? How long can things like this be available to your business? The life of? Some years? When I personally tried to go to ebenefits in the past clicking that button I figured I would get some mail about the program or something but instead a counselor had called me with a set date and I had to cancel because I wasn't aware I was going to get an appointment like that. I hadn't developed a business plan yet so I figured I would be unprepared. Is this true? Should I have a fully prepared business plan before I even go back to ebenefits and try to get an appointment again? Or is this all taken in steps?
