Thanks for this. We’re doing it next week and I feel better after seeing you cover the parts I was worried about. Still worried but less scared 😊

We did the mystic pass trail from the johnson canyon to mystic lake 2 weeks ago, the conditions were pure snow in mystic pass, one of us popped the knee, had to treck it down in pure night and get search and rescue down to the lake, quite insane when you think about it, we were told that the conditions should be good but without proper snow equipment, its a miracle we made it.

I always recommend checking current satellite imagery before a high alpine route. It could save you a lot of heartache in future!

Love it. This was my last hike last season before the snow shut things down. Interesting to see the vastly different water levels. Cool bear encounter. He seemed pretty chill moving off trail for you. I agree with the muzzle. People think they can control their off leash, out of control dog when it spots some muley deers? Dream on... Your experienced wisdom shows.

Well done on this hike babe. I loved everything about this adventure you and Brave did, other than the multiple water crossings. Brrrr. Thank you for always remembering to put Braves muzzle on to protect the little forest creatures great and small!! The bear sign everywhere than finally coming across him/her was definitely a highlight.

You should lose the muzzle on your dog… How is it supposed to protect itself from predators???

You can still run at 50. Great! I talk to the crows around here in Southern California. I am impressed by your drive . I am going to North Carolina soon and your video gave me reason to check out this area around the Paria River in Southern Utah / Northern Arizona. Thanks

Phantom Craig and Ghost is also stoney nakoda forbidden grounds cannibals would eat you out there the screams id get on minnewanka trail to the craig sounded to much like a witch screaming at me but i assumed ravens sound like that the reports of 18inch tracks also have been made in places we wouldnt go up to but 6ft strides meant it was pretty big! I dont doubt history but if u hear something that sounds bgger than a raven screaming at u from up those mtns ? Gtfo!!
