The screen is actually 36% bigger which is a lot. Portability is great on Clara but I really like to hold Libra 2. I think they are equally good and they do some things better than the other.

Thank you so much! It works like wonders :) However just a slight issue with some of my books that the cover page doesn't show up in sleep mode.. it only shows the text version of the title + "kobo epub". Is there a way to fix this please?

Thanks for the video. I just purchased a Kobo Clara BW and the first thing I did was add KOReader based on all the great things I've heard about it. I've been watching a bunch of your videos and they've been extremely helpful in getting it installed and set up. One thing I was wondering was if there was a way to copy your settings from KOReader on the Kobo to KOReader on my Android phone? While I won't use the phone for reading very often, it would be nice to have that as a backup and I would like to be able to copy all my fonts that I loaded into KOReader on the Kobo, as well as all my settings and preferences without having to manually go through them one by one on the phone. Do you know if there is a way to do this?

I'm a 6" fan, in the kindle basic or kobo clara ratio :) I have a Boox Go 10.3 and will get a 6" companion for it when it becomes available (like a new Poke or Go 6). I don't want page turn buttons.

Mine is 6 inch and have never tried the 7. Although Im looking for a libra 2 or whatever blackwhite twin will come after the libra color. In my experience it is easier to follow along the text and comprehend it in a smaller screen with smaller sections and bigger font. It doesnt feel as overwhelming as a big, thick and heavy book with tiny text. Ereaders have helped me rediscover the joy of reading. Edit: Though it looks like none of yours (Stefans) devices have a (matte) screen protector. Or do they? What do you think of the pros and cons of using one? That could be a video idea. I want to try it but worry that eventual regret and removal will scratch or damage the screen.

When I send an epub to my kindle, everything is ok except that it show like a Document and not a book, and the only way to fix it is if I transfer it via cable on calibre, but then it doesn’t appear on my phones app 😢

been researching TTS book reading apps and so I have hit a number of your videos. It kills me that you don't have your devices recording audio or streaming audio to something you can record from and instead rely on us to get an idea of voice qualities through what ever is picked up over your mic. Also when demonstrating... 1.0x speed only... the speed reading 1.2x and 1.3x from your other videos drove me crazy. ;)

What I like about Speechify is I can take a picture of something with text and it will read it out to me. I don’t know if the built-in Apple one does that but nothing is better than having Snoop Dogg. Read your text messages to you or read a book it is hilarious.

Confirming this works on Moan Inkpalm 5 pro. Took a few hours to update to my new read but worked without having to go to web, download cover for current read, and set as screensaver which I was previously doing.

Hi!, I wanted to ask how is this device on the long run, because I heard horror stories about people buying this device and it's a pain to reach out at Boox's customer support and defective devices too. I really like this form factor, the smaller the better for me, but I'm between this and kobo clara bw, in both cases i'm going to run Koreader because I just love the program and the fact I can share progression between different devices!

Fantastic video! Thank you! I saw a few comments that were looking for an ANDROID equivalent, try ePub reader. I can confirm it also works not only for ePub but PDF too. If you go into the settings you can set your language, the way to do this is Accessibility > (Scroll to the bottom) Text-to-speech output and change the language from there, If you click the gear icon and click install voice data, scroll to your language and you can select from a set list for the exact voice you would like. Figured this out after watching this video and thought I'd share a little bit of knowledge from my digging. Hope this helps someone!
