I had a Kirby senttria 2 for 20 sum years and just sold it because we got Harwood and it didn't work so good and this is a carpet vacuum and I think it cleaned are carpets so good it made it look like new every time and weight isn't that bad think about the Dyson balls there just as heavy and these Kirbys have lasted for 50+ years and they still works and I thought that Dyson lasted long until I had a Kirby

I had a Miele years ago and then when I needed to replace I went to lower priced vacuums and was not happy with any of them....especially since we have pets. Finally decided enough is enough and came back to Miele....in my opinion, best vacuum out there! Using the attachments are so easy to put on and take off when vacuuming!

You had me interested in what you had to say until you got to Kirby. You trashed and disrespected the oldest and most well respected vacuum cleaner brand on the market. Your whole opinion of Kirby centers on your perception that Kirby is outdated. Kirby invented and utilizes the direct air vacuum design which outperforms the passive air design used by all these other manufactures you listed and ranked in the top category by a long shot and that's been proven. There is nothing on the market that has the power and agitation necessary to clean a carpet as good as a Kirby and that's a fact! The person with the windmill brain is you.

I discovered the vacuum subculture while researching something to replace my Shark (which has worked fine for the last 5 years). It seems that anything that’s easy to buy (like at Walmart or similar) is frowned upon while elite (and expensive) brands that are available only through dealers are celebrated. I got 5 years from my $350 Shark Navigator and it kept my house clean. That’s pretty reasonable in my opinion. I just don’t see spending 1,000+ for something that essentially does what my Shark did. What am I missing?

THE BRUSH NOT SPINNING has nothing to do with dirty filters or dust clogging up (that's a suction issue). The motor that spins the brushes clogs up with dirt and the motor freezes. Forget the convient solutions, the brush head is poorly designed; the motor should be mounted outside the head Don't waste your money.

I am thinking about getting the LG cord zero I already have a Henry and just want a vacuum for mid week cleans and quick car cleans. Do you recommend it? And another question: is the LG made out of metal above the dust bin where the motor and filter sit? Or is it Plastik?

It's made up of plastic. It's a pretty good value when it's on sale for sub $350 . For quick pickups it's decent. You're probably find you'll prefer your Henry in your car.

After letting a teenager use my Miéle C3 Marin powerline I noticed it now has loud bearing or motor. I noticed said teen had allowed the machine to suck up large debris, which went unnoticed, clogging the hose. Consequently, debris built up before going into the bag, sucking it up all around & into the vacuum motor. My question is: Do they sell motors or bearings for these? Im having quite the time locating parts! If anyone has the answer(s) or knows which site's best, PLEASE let me know?! Thank you for your informative video, sir! ( Performance Reviews )

Bagged vacuums are so much better than bagless ones, especially for people who have asthma and other dust/dander/pollen allergies. Easier to clean too. It's a shame that it is so hard to find a good bagged vacuum out there in stores. I have to look online to find one. Now and then I can find the bags for my vacuums in stores. Even with the standard floor head, the Zing does as good of a job, it looks like, as my current Bissell PowerForce vacuum does that I'm thinking of replacing. I'm trying to decide between this Zing and the Bissell CleanView vacuum. I have half and half floors: two bedrooms with medium shag carpet and the rest of the house with ceramic tile very similar to yours. The living room (the biggest room in the house) has ceramic tiles with area rugs stuck down in various places, so maybe the Zing would be best, but I'm not sure. I have the rugs stuck down well enough that I can set my PowerForce on its bare floor setting and run over them without pulling the rugs up. One reason why I"m thinking of getting the Zing is that I'm tired of my PowerForce falling over when I'm trying to clean using the wand. That's so annoying! Very helpful video! Good to know that the Zing has a 1" hose so accessories for other vacuums with 1" hoses will work with it.

About 2 years ago, I had a Kirby salesman show up to my door. One google search led me to your channel and I ended up buying a used Kirby G4. I just upgraded to a Sebo Felix and I can't thank you enough for the move. Before the G4, I had a Shark. The difference in performance is astronomical. My carpets are cleaner. My Bissell Big Green performs better as it does not have to deal with pet hair my Shark couldn't pick up. I save so much time vacuuming now.

I have a $1700 Miele C3 Brillant Powerline Complete canister vacuum, but it always stays in the closet and my Dyson Outsize Plus gets used every day. Convenience wins out over perceived superiority any day. That is why people buy Dyson's and they do literally suck very well and are always ready to go. Is the Miele quieter? Yes Is the Miele dust free? Yes. Does it work very well? Yes. Is it convenient? No way, first you have to drag it out of the closet, plug it in, make sure you don't need a new bag, wrangle with the cord while cleaning, and buy expensive bags and filters. My house gets vacuumed more often and quicker if something is seen on the floor, since I got the Dyson because you can just grab the Dyson and go. Since I have all tile or wood floors I mostly use the fluffy bar and it easily get the little rocks or hard things the roller will often eject.

I have a full standard attachment set without the box in good condition if you’re interested. I used to own a blue unit like the one in your vid. Bought it brand new with the kit. It was a nice looking vacuum that was tough to maneuver on deeper carpet. I always thought the suction was just adequate, never letting a bag get even half full before replacing. The hose and floor brush was essential for vacuuming hard floors, using the main unit was awkward and didn’t pick up fine debris like salt, etc. Also, small debris would stick to the wheels and be tracked around. Over the years all of the rubber coated parts like the handle and the bumper shroud got sticky and then began to crumble. Then the roller wheels split in two while the unit was stored in the closet. Parts would have been well over $100 and I had already moved on to an Electrolux canister. So the Royal went to the dumpster. It was a shame but I don’t miss it. About a year ago I found a Miele upright for $50 and it’s night and day better than the Royal ever was, other than all the chrome.

I purchased a Shark Upright a few years because my Family recommended that brand and Consumer Reports rated them highly. Maybe CR gets paid off? I've had quite a few suction issues with it, and Dyson's were terrible too (much worse) so it does follow my experience. I've only purchased Dyson and Shark, so it's awful to know these are all crap.Nonetheless, thank you for educating on this and I'll know to purchase something better.

11:50 don’t talk shit about Kirby, they have a timeless and extremely reliable design. That’s what keeps them in business. They don’t need to change much on a machine, aside from the little updates they do from time to time, it’s essentially a perfect vacuum and stands the test of time. Most of them tend to outlive their owners due to the build quality

As someone who dumpster dives for vacuum cleaners and sells them for a profit you are 100% correct. We live in a disposable society and not just vacuum s either, vehicles and technology too. Many cleaners I find were tossed because they were clogged and tossed because they are too lazy to find out where the clog actually is. one thing I noticed is that Shark makes it's cleaners with cheap materials. It hasn't been two years and the bristles on the roller are starting to fall apart on the cleaner I use for my Study room. Considering I found it new shows slot about the quality of the materials they use.

I have an Electrolux 3500 sr series but mine looks just like yours. I have a question. The knobs to wind your cord on are the same as mine, too. My top knob is out and will just spin. I've tried to tighten it but it just doesn't work. I finally pulled it off one evening and there is a "screw" . So, I tried to screw it on.....Didn't go down. I even tried the other direction. If I can get it back to where it's supposed to be, I'll glue it. On another video, a gentleman turned the top knob to loosen the cord and it broke.? I'm not getting it. These are great vacuums!! (And, I also have a Kirby) Thanks for any info you can pass on to me about that silly knob. It's been like that for years and I'm just now at that point!! 😊 I enjoyed your video.
