The sound that left my mouth when you showed Quora as evidence was LOUD. Seriously tho I really love your channel!

Sending the invasive hippos to India / Mexico was mind-blowing. Good job Tyler. Looking forward to seeing more content from you!

Thank you! And yes, I was quite surprised to hear about that plan too! Although I didn’t look into why those locales were suggested, I suspect they would’ve been placed in animal parks.

If I had to recall a particular animal encounter in 2023 it would have to be seeing male northern elephant seals duke it out

Why the pelage change at 2:54? Every part of the video before that point was worked on several weeks ago, whereas everything after that was done a few days ago. Between these times, I chose to update my character, so I just chose to use the updated version for the rest of the video.

South American Cervids deserve more love,good job! Maybe cover the Huemal or Masama next?
@tylerknowsanimalsАй бұрын
Thank you, and yes, I completely agree that South American cervids are underrated! And I'd definitely be down to cover either of your two suggestions in the future, but this channel has been very mammal-heavy thus-far, so I think I want to cover some non-mammals first if that makes sense.

I want to know from the people who watch this video if you like this style of video (more "storytime"-based) or if you prefer how I did my previous two videos (answering FAQs without much of a linear narrative)? And regardless of that, any feedback, questions, or constructive critiques are always welcomed.

i think gorillas can eat meat but they are either too lazy or slower than available hunts around. some chimps on the otherhand, hunt smaller monkeys
@tylerknowsanimals6 ай бұрын
I would imagine as much. I'm sure the other subspecies can eat insects too, and I wouldn't be surprised if they could all also eat vertebrate meat as well, but it's just a matter of we haven't found any evidence proving they do this. After all, there was a point when we didn't know chimpanzees ate meat, but as you pointed out, we now know they can sometimes be voracious predators.

also, i thought the poo eating behavior was only found in captivity. Is it actually true they also do that in the wild?
@tylerknowsanimals9 ай бұрын
@@YellowPredator92Thank you for the compliment! To answer your question, I did a little bit of additional research and I did indeed see that most of the sources I read only talked about the poop-eating behavior in captivity. However, I personally suspect it would happen in the wild, even if not as frequently as in zoos. However, if you (or anyone else reading this) ever finds evidence on the contrary, I'd be happy to know!
