Ich habe 1973 in Hamburg einen Studentenjob zu Weihnachten gesucht- ich war Kommisionierer beim OTTO Versand.Die haben gut bezahlt und später war ich auch an der Datenverarbeitung .Die hatten schon Grossrechner und Monitore auf den Schreibtischen- das war was völlig neues. Ich habe damals 2300,- DM verdient- mit 21 Jahren- das war absolut Spitze. Ich bin aber trotzdem weg und wurde Architekt-- mit am Anfang weniger Geld.

Ist aber auch nicht (mehr) günstig....

Wäre Deutschland so weltoffen und tolerant nach innen gewesen wie es sich 1936 nach außen hin präsentiert hat hätte das alles ein ganz anderes ende genommen.

Ich habe mich immer auf die Kataloge gefreut, zweimal im Jahr von Quelle und Neckermann 😊 Dann wurden die Bilder ausgeschnitten und ich habe mir mein Zimmer damit vorgestellt 😊 Bestellt habe ich viel bei Neckermann,war ganz traurig als es den Versand nicht mehr gab . Jetzt bestelle ich bei Otto, ich kann auf Rechnung bezahlen, die Ware wird bis in meine Wohnung gebracht, manchmal sogar Versandkosten frei 😊. Im Moment habe ich mir eine Couch bestellt, bin gespannt wann sie geliefert wird. Leider gibt es keine Kataloge mehr, das ist eben der Lauf der Zeit 😊. Sehr interessante Dokumentation 👍

Mit dem Katalog zum Erfolg, aber dann sich doch von anderen anstecken lassen und modern werden und den Katalog nicht mehr anbieten bzw. garnicht mehr herstellen. Stattdessen alles im Onlineshop. Aus diesem Grund kann Otto mich vergessen.

Anlässlich meines Umzugs hatte ich bei der Suche nach einigen neuen Möbeln im Otto-Onlineshop die meisten Erfolgserlebnisse. Auch die Services (Aufbauservice, Altmöbel-Rücknahmeservice) sind einzigartige Vorteile. Im Gegensatz zu amazon kann man Otto auch gut telefonisch erreichen. Was die Vielfalt des Gesamtangebots angeht, ist amazon dennoch unschlagbar.

Otto ist der größte Müll geworden der vorstellbar ist! Habe 2 Mal hintereinander komplett andere Ware bekommen als bestellt. Service sagte wäre menschliches Versagen gewesen. Der Ärger mit der Inkasso Bank dann jetzt wohl auch…… Ich will nicht wissen wie viele Kunden sich da einschüchtern lassen von den Betrügern!
