That's entrapment wtf .... babies will crawl around and try to get into stuff all the time, if your consistent on telling them no and if they didn't listen you could tap their little hand point and say no, and if that don't work they go in time out .... I did that for literally 1 week and my daughter listened well.... she can stick that blanket up the u know what!

Folks, shes a sweet loving lady. The difference is she was thoroughly BRAINWASHED, and wholeheartedly believed in these teachings. The movement her and her husband followed was a cult dressed up as Christianity. It shows you how easy it is for domeone to be led, not that she's sadistic. She'd been tought to obey these teachings as though they were scriptural. At least Jinger and Jill found their way out of the cult. If youve seen any cult documentary, youd learn how convincing cult leaders are. The leaders are twisted and fool good intentioned people.

I’m pretty sure a similar kind of parenting is what broke me which is why at the age of 54 I need frequent validation. If I don’t get it, I’m psychologically f’d and it’s really really hard to give me my own validation. Parents want control like this for their own current happiness yet they are clueless on the long term psychological/ pathological damage this has long after they are gone/dead.

I understand you want to raise your kids with a Christian belief. My Bible does it tell me that a 6-month-old needs to get the rebellion side that they're born with out of them. God himself does it hold a child responsible for their sins to a certain age. God forgive me if I come across as judging. How Christians get such a bad rap is for everybody that goes to the extreme. That's when they start dabbling with putting their opinions or adding to God's word.

blanket training was absolutely a thing. It wasn't pleasant and plenty of families included their older children so they didn't have to stay at the blanket and if you refused it got ugly fast. Everyone I grew up with either had been blanket trained or had been brought into line after joining. Needless to say, I don't know many of us who have relationships with our biological parents.
