ive seen anime for over 20 years, i don't think hajime no hippo is a 10/10 , ive seen far better series and battles, but this ... this is probably the best fight scene ever done, a match perfectly in synchro with a very long ost, hippo making the question that made him start boxing, this is too perfect.

if any of you want to see a fight like this in real life i recommend you watch Israel adesanya vs Kevin Gastelum. going into the final round both fighters are pushed so far that adesanya stands from his corner and says to himself "there is no problem, i am prepared to die. i am prepared to die"

The Ippo vs Sendo has always been a crazy fight, especially the mix-up part, the highs and lows of both fighers in the beginning and then suddenly nearing the end but not yet as they overcome their wounds that ordinary boxers would succumb to and all to fight for dear pride that breaks their limits to try and overcome their opponent. Truly a great fight.

This episode is the best episode in all Anime, it has several climaxes. Ippo making Sendo the God bleed. Sendo's Rage Ippo's knocked out self dialog. Mr. Yagi, thinking of throwing the towel Saber Tiger - Eternal Loop (yes, that song) Broken Ribs x-ray Ippo's Question and Kamogawa's non-answer People Stomping Mashiba's thoughts Fuji San, calling the fight a mix-up (turmoil) Both trainers refusing to stop such a dangerous fight. Final encounter still. The episode could have ended at any of those points, like most anime episodes "saving good stuff for later" George Morikawa doesn't hold anything for later.
