Bryan, the fork tubes are 10” overstock. The neck has been raked 5/8”. That is, it was cut at the bottom and raked out until there was 5/8” gap. That gap was then filled with a wedge and it was all welded up. Then it was molded to cover the weld and give it a smooth appearance.
@bryanbrady076 жыл бұрын
awesome bike! How many over is the front end? and did you say 5/8 of an inch added to molding on the neck?

Great collection of the amazing 60's chopper photography. As mentioned by others, the music kinda kills the nostalgic feel of those great B & A's (and the strife between bikers and cops)

The Berdoo Chapter of the Hells Angels and The Iron Horsemen circa 1966. Kudos to Bill Ray. Love the shot of the motor cop and the club members. Period-perfect choppers por vida! The cops just didn't let up on them. Nothing has changed.

Maybe a better choice for music to accompany these great old Bill Ray Life shots: garage bands like The Woolies (Who Do You Love?) or The Castaway (Liar, Liar).
