Always love an interview with Roy but this is especially good so Tommy deserves a big clap for this he's a sound man himself it's good to see him do well considering some of the current shit we have to endure he's genuinely a pleasure

I hope as modest as he is, that deep down he knows the fact he was 'very lucky' with his career was helped greatly by easily being in the top ten midfielders in the world during his time at his peak, and was a bigger help to him than luck of the Irish absolute machine

Eamon Dunphy is 100%, that's what I like about him. He's great. But there are many things he has said I disagreed with fundamentally. But overall, he's okay. He's a good player, but not a great player, to borrow his own catch-phrase.

A good man, a great former player, achieved much in his career, but unfortunately he allowed a personally clash to cause him to let his team mates and country down when he was needed and he walked out in a huff. What could have been had there been harmony. Forget blame, there was a personality clash end of. Unfortunately he will always be associated with walking out on his team at Saipan. Will always have respect him for his manu career and soccer knowledge. Can you imagine Johnny Sexton walking out of the Irish Rugby team at a world cup?
