Perfect Video with full of information even for begginers though i inspect that my problem might not be at the Fuel Gauge Sender and i will explain. i have a VW T2 '79. When tank is full will show full almost but will show empty though there is half tank fuel inside left so if there are about 25lts inside the tank will show empty and this is always stress. I do also have access to the tank under the mattress in the back made from previous owner, what would you suggest to start looking at on the +/- cables on the gauge without taking apart it first? I will also spray some WD40 to the terminals though i do not think problem is there as the fuel indicator in the dashboard seems to respond/moving but not accurate. Or should i consider having a look on the dashboard for some other issue? I do also think now i see the end of your video that the position of the plastic float is not correctly aligned inside the tank? Thanks

Top job, looks really nice, I bet your Dad is scared to use it now though, because he doesn't want to get it dirty🤣you can't beat the old vintage mowers from the 60's and 70's, were built solidly and designed to last, that's why there are so many still about and in regular use. I have the super panther from the 60's, which was the previous model to your Dad's super lite panther here, but not restored mine, so it is still in its original paintwork, but in surprisingly good condition considering it is now over 50yrs old.
