Why The Incredibles 2 (2018) Sucks: The Incredibles 2 (2018)...no! This movie is so bloody outrageous! This movie is terrible and it's an abomination! This is a horrible film and it is certainly the WORST...FILM...EVER! It sucks! It's disgusting and unacceptable! It's forgettable and the worst film ever that I've seen! Yeah, this movie is never good at all. I know I like The Incredibles 1 (2004), Jack-Jack Attack, all three Guardians of the Galaxy films, Spider-Man, The Avengers, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, The LEGO Bat-Man Movie, Big Hero 6, Aqua-Man, Mary Poppins Returns, Inside Out 2, and I am of course gonna like Moana 2 when it comes out in November this year and The Incredibles 3 when they release a trailer and in theaters. But The Incredibles 2 (2018) is horrible and it's just disappointing and it's so bloody outrageous. I can't believe we waiting 14 years for an abomination like this! And the plot was pretty bad. Yeah, there's many things bad about the movie. So I'm gonna put the reasons that explain why I hate this movie so much! Here we go. 1. Tony's new look didn't age well and looks nothing like his old counterpart. 2. ATROCIOUS BEGINNING: The detectives in the beginning are a dick to the supers for no reason, accuse them for the Underminer's escape, because they couldn't even fight criminals anymore until the end, because those ass-holes accused them! 3. It introduces the infamous Evelyn Deavor and the Screenslaver. Evelyn is generically an evil endeavor mobster, who wants superheroes to stay illegal forever! She was a gosh-darn witch! This makes her lack anything superhero related and have no characteristics besides evil endeavor. At least, Syndrome from before had some well-written humor to make him a very enjoyable villain to sit through. But, Evelyn has no good traits, making her a really lousy villain to sit through. 4. DVD False Advertising: Evelyn is nowhere to be pictured on the poster, despite being the main villain. . In addition, Evelyn gets barely any screen-time as a villain before the reveal where she smacks the goggles on Mrs. Incredible for no reason and convinces Bob that she's okay. Well, SHE'S NOT OKAY!! WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU THINKING DISNEY AND PIXAR?! Creating these horrible characters named Evelyn and the detectives!? They're the WORST...INCREDIBLES...CHARACTERS...EVER!! There's no reason why people would like these characters! . Her motive is down-right stupid and bland: Despite having clear intentions, she was charged for framing in innocent pizza delivery guy, security breaches, false imprisonment, violating FCC regulations when the Screenslaver hijacked a radio and TV, causing supers get brainwashed for no reason and escapes in a jet! What a terrible villain she was in this film! On the top of that, the detectives we saw in the beginning NEVER apologized to the supers for their actions! 5. The Underminer never appears anywhere else after the bad beginning. What the hell?! 6. Despite Helen being the main character of this movie, Bob literally has more screen-time than she does. . Granted, Bob gets all jealous of his wife being chosen to make supers legal again, which I do like this idea of. . He even erases Violet's memories of Tony we see in the beginning. See?! Tony has no new memories in his mind no more! 7. The line, "Well, that went poorly." See?! It's never explained why the Underminer escaped in the first place. 8. No clear moral whatsoever. 9. The story makes absolutely no sense at all. 10. A ton of characters from before like Syndrome, Mirage, Omnidroids, Bernie Kropp, Kari McKeen, and Gilbert Huph are nowhere to be found. 11. Despite this film receiving a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, there's many problems with this film. Here's a handful of good things about this film 1. The animation still nice to look at. 2. The old characters are still likable (except Bob), even the new characters like Winston, Rocky and the new superheroes (except for Evelyn, Screenslaver and the detectives obviously). 3. Good ending (despite being rushed): Once supers are made legal again, Evelyn did get arrested for all her horrible crimes. That's all fine and good. Later, Violet gets to know Tony again and later, she introduces herself and her family to him and they drop him off at the theaters and live happily ever after. 4. It is quite nice to know that Jack-Jack gets more focus. . The runaway train and the Parr family traveling to a new home scenes were also pretty cool. 5. The voice acting still does a good job, even the songs are good. 6. Once they make a third film, it will hopefully fix the problems this film had. Overall, I'm gonna give The Incredibles 2 (2018) a 0/10, because this film sucks, it's absolute garbage and not very fun to see. So, this film deserves to be left in the memory dump and doesn't deserve to saved by the supers. But, if you like The Incredibles 2 (2018), I respect your opinion. I'll still give the first Incredibles film from 2004 and Jack-Jack Attack a 10/10 along the other films I mentioned. End of rant.

It is important to note that Incredibles 2 was written so poorly because a year of it’s production time was cut off mid-development because of Toy Story 4 which caused the team behind Incredibles 2 to rush everything with the little time they had. Hopefully the same thing doesn’t happen to Incredibles 3.

Sequels are bad when they’re unnecessary and shameless cashgrabs instead of passion projects.

The Incredibles was a movie that either shouldn’t have had a sequel or should have had a massive time skip instead. Incredibles 2 was so forgettable that I literally forgot about it until I saw the thumbnail. I miss the meta humor and self awareness and 1950’s ascetic the original had that was completely lost in the second movie. Bad plot, boring “villain” and rushed ending that feels empty.

The second incredible sucks because The Underminer is not the main villain like he I thought he would be but I don't want Another Incredibles film that taking place after the second movie and I rather waiting for another The Incredible Film that only Immediately takes place after the first movie so The Underminer is main villain and ignore Incredibles 2 as well what makes AVPR Aliens Vs Predator Requiem movie the best sequel is that Predalien is main antagonist in the sequel Immediately left off from AVP Alien Vs Predator 2004 movie along Are the best sequels are Predator movie sequels. I hate the idea in The Incredibles sequel main villain is Evelyn Deavor os the main villain not The Underminer.

This movie only proves that I was too harsh on part 3, because this film is an absolute abomination to long time KFP fans. They disregard the beauty and heart of the first 3 movies for cheap-ass humor that doesn't even land. Just to name a few things I find wrong with this movie....

This was an aggressive review, but I agree with a majority of your points. I just felt like this entire movie was lacking. It’s not an awful movie, but when lined up with the first three it’s not great and ruins the overall story. I feel like this wasn’t supposed to be made but it was. I can see how a 4th entry could be made because The Chameleon and fox could have been interesting characters, but with poor writing and a lackluster backstory, they came off as an unsatisfying roster of new characters. I’d give this a 5.5/10 honestly, but I had fun with it, just very dissatisfied.

It had absolutely nothing to do with the other 3 movies, and they should've brought back one of the older villains. But the movie is still funny and entertaining just like the others.

It offers really funny bits overall, great enjoyment for kids, not so much this particular one as an adult. Anyway we had a good time.

For me the best illumation films the I've seen are the first two despicable me films, minions the rise of gru, sing 1 and 2 and the super Mario bros movie. The rest of their films dont appeal to me.

Doing a similar plot with a different story or being very different in tone aren’t bad things for sequels. They just need them to be natural continuations of the original regardless of all that.
