The game seems to have interesting bones! I'll keep my eye on it. Thanks for drawing attention to this title!

Saw this game at OTK's "tank shark" show. It's nice you've actually played it. Rock and Stones 💪

OOTS!!! And yes, the dwarfs in it HATE trees and think they're all there to spy on them I have read one story where there were wood dwarfs who made everything from wood and had an ongoing feud with the stone & metal dwarfs

Looks great. If only us console only peasants could play the demo, too. Very frustrating that this only has a demo on PC.
@stevengardner31925 сағат бұрын
What's the demo on? PS5or Xbox?
@blackmanwithcomputer5 сағат бұрын
Only PC, which is so frustrating.

Im all for this, i hope Epic decides to take a similar route and turn Save the World into an offline singleplayer campaign focused game, it literally has the framework for a decent full featured title. 👍🏿👍🏿

Holy this is SICK and i think, given its a quantum computer, you're taking people from alternative realities, and not creating artificial memories

Everything looks like Returnal in this game. Even the map view. I still will play it 😊

The world can change massively and meaningfully in an MMO. It requires a phasing system. So the new player still has the world as it was until they get the point in the story you are at.

You ever watch a movie called "The Martian"? You would love it. Probably also like one called "Moon" (2009).
@Scorchluck8 сағат бұрын
Very strong Returnal vibes, and I would compare it not to The Martian, but to Tarkovsky's Solaris. The book the movie is based on was written by Stanislaw Lem, a Polish writer, and considering the game's developers are Polish, it's likely they were inspired by the atmosphere from there.

that movement speed is ridiculous and unimmersive
@dud56069 сағат бұрын
It looks cool and nicely polished but I don't really see a strong hook here. The intro is kind of weak, story doesn't grab me at all either. You're just kind of plopped into this world and start to run around dangeons killing stuff. This part of the game seems weak,

adobes contract update is so vague, they can use anything you store in their cloud for an unspecified reason. they also give themselfes a permanent use licence to anything you create and store with them.

This looks like an absolute banger of a game. In a lot of ways, it gives me Subnautica vibes - that sense of isolation, of impending danger when you are woefully unprepared to meet it.

Wonderful that the first thing to come out of a cloning machine is a sheep, which is named Molly. Reference to the first cloned animal, though her name was Dolly.

I played Airborn Kingdom before and quite like it. Even the grind of scarcity (and savescumming multiple times). The new direction of anthro animals is interesting. (if you don't know, previous game leans towards islamic arab/thousand nights style, also anthros are main staple of middle east fables) Another thing unique to the series is patterning on the landscape. It's as if the entire map is made of fabric/carpet.

Whenever I get back into a DND mood, I think about this series. I watched it back when I probably wasn't the right age to be watching it, but without it I don't think I'd be into half the stuff I am. Thanks, Wander.

so as something of an Analgesic Productions fangirl(?), and after reading up on some of Angeline Era's design ethos/inspirations...I still did not expect the demo to go so incredibly hard, and I think it's the best demo I've ever played? Somehow I think the full game could eclipse Anodyne 2 as my favorite game from them. There's already so much in the demo that my goofy secret-addled brain didn't find that fish fight until I was scouring the overworld for that last level, and it's possible I didn't even find everything in my long playthrough! (the demo could be completed in around an hour if you just go for the main path, but exploring and experimenting is a real joy) (tip: the inspect/search button works within levels as well) to anyone intrigued and/or hesitant about the combat in Angeline Era - the bump slash is actually incredible, it's shockingly responsive and fun. also minor correction for 58:14 - both Melos AND Marina developed all of Analgesic Productions' games, including Anodyne and Anodyne 2, they're a fantastic team!

this form of cosmic horror that is simply the inescapable chaos of astronomical processes is such a brilliant backdrop to the base-building gameplay loop
