1959 and wasn't going to get married just because that was what was expected of her. Talk about way ahead of her time!!!

Spinster implies a much older woman who has never married. Perhaps Bachelorette would have been more appropriate in this case.

I saw that show at the age of 12. It was entertaining. It was already off the network before I discovered the series.

Very wrong comparison to Gracey Allen who depended on the character of stupidity compared to Miss Ball was pure intelligence, whit, timing perfection and guts !

Oh, look, it's Kirk Cameron before his acting career flatlined and he morphed into a sanctimonious judgmental Trump-supporting bigot.

It’s ironic that one of her big sponsors over the years was a tobacco company, which she also did commercials for. They paid her back by breaking down her health--and millions of others….

lol 50:22 you either have a face for show business or you don't. An obvious reason for my time stamp here and an obvious reason why this woman is NOT in the limelight.

When Maury was a somewhat legitimate, respectable news presenter, instead of hosting his insane show.

As Michelle's comment under me says, so true. Everything was different people loved comedy and all that came with it for laughs. Today , everyone wants to sue for comedic's making a racist joke and more. I loved all the shows. I wish we all were still dancing. The world was just "dam", nicer .

I would be born 8 months later, my mom would die 8 months later, and she died on carol Burnett's birthday..... 2 out of these 3 facts no one cares about 😂

Lucy was born the same year my mother was. I was born the second season of I Love Lucy. However, our town didn't have a CBS affiliate at the time. That came about two years later. My mama wrote in my baby book that I loved tv. And I know I must have loved Lucy.😢😅😊

I remember when I was in Palm Springs, and I heard that she had passed away. It was devastated her shows her comedy shows her movies and her life will never be forgotten even when I’m sad I love watching your shows over and over. Sure miss Lucy like I said she’ll never be forgotten there’s only one Lucy with red hair. and her great sense of humour that everyone loves I love Lucy❤️❤️ 10:41

Does anyone know what the commercial at 11:51 is for?

I checked my original MPG file and it only shows what you see here. I would have to pull out the old VHS Tapes to see what the original on that actually shows but that is a little impractical to hook everything up to find out. Sorry. Interesting commercial though!

Bob and Lucy had an affair before she was with Desi - Bob was quite the ladies man, he also had an affair with Doris Day and hundreds of women - he always kept a girlfriend in an apartment that he paid for - he did this into his 80's - his wife Delores looked the other way, she lived to 102 and Bob lived to 100. RIP
