Not really. Weight is pretty easy to transfer by mounting spares and accessories where needed. But for jumping it’s more about technique, the lip, and throttle.

I typically lean towards paint if it’s a keeper, because wraps really only last about 4 years. But his truck will probably get a new wrap every year or two.

No. Only if you have a demand needing proof from a history of not having insurance. Otherwise you’ll be fine.

But, don’t forget, if dmv doesn’t receive proof of insurance from your insurance company, eventually they can suspend your registration. So make sure it’s insured soon after you get it registered. I think it’s 30 days.

That’s a good question! In my experience, 1995 and older diesel trucks do NOT need smog. But a car, I do not know.

My son and I live in Oregon and he got me a 2021 Tacoma back then and it was a gift to me. I’m moving to California and I’m afraid how I’m suppose to report this or document this at DMV. I do have the title with my name so I own it out right. Would I have to pay a lot of it’s gifted to me? I’m afraid that they will charge me a lot which I’m on SSDI and afraid that I won’t be able to afford the transfer. Any information is greatly appreciated.
