Question: The Box that you have the 100ah battery in looks great. What are the inside dimensions. Do you have a link for that exact box? I think you have two great power boxes. Good demo.

I've read a lot of different opinions about the device. I actually wanted to buy one myself, but I'm afraid of investing €400 in junk. Would you buy it again and if so, where? You have a top channel, more like that!

Mine came into today. I am a very active Ham operator. Current main HF rig FTDX101MP and it has the best receiver for a transceiver in the world. So the bar was set really really high in receiver performance , filtering and noise mitigation etc. This thing blew me away, I don’t know how they did it. It’s that darn good.

I emailed Alinco tech support and their response was "the radios are made in China, had it been manufactured in Manilla it would have cost $75 to $100 more. Alinco has received reports of low audio and does not have a solution at this time. As an option Alinco will be releasing a new desktop microphone for use with their mobile radios"

Update: Still loving this unit, no issues at all. You can move apps around in and out of the home screen. When you set up the sim, I just set mine up yesterday, the app speeds are really quick. Everything works great!!

I've had this unit for a year now and wouldn't say it's fantastic. I have a 2017 F-150 Platinum. There is no volume control gauge on screen that shows how high or low the volume is and you are limited to only being able to control it with the steering wheel control. You didn't mention that you need a cell sim card to be able to even get navigation. I even went to At&t and paid for an additional line for a month and the E10 wouldn't read the card ! You shouldn't need a sim card and cell phone plan to get navigation. I've had $300 aftermarket stereos some old trucks and they all came with navigation built in meaning , functioning navigation not cell signal required to work navigation. You can't get the app store or even check the weather or use many features the stereo has without a sim card which has to be an activated cell phone plan sim card ! So the big screen experience sucks in that regard. You also lose your Bluetooth music connection anytime you get a phone call and have to go back to the home screen and reinitiate the Bluetooth connection to media on your phone to continue listening. Sometimes the rear back up camera cuts out and says no signal when you go to back up sometimes and usually when you need it most. I've gone a year without navigation and have to use my phone for that after having navigation on the factory stereo. Very annoying that they didn't work out many of these things before putting this stereo on the market. Why couldn't they also just reuse the factory GPS antenna and system as well so that you get navigation built in without the need of a sim card? I paid $1230 for the stereo and though it has many great features, many are useless without a phone plan sim card that you have to pay a monthly phone plan bill to be able to use ! The navigation screen sits unused on the home screen and does nothing but take up space unless you have a sim card and monthly payment to be able to use it. Basically, you pay $1230 for bragging right to having a big screen stereo when people look into your truck. That's about it.

Sorry you are having trouble, I would recommend contacting tech support to resolve the issues, I have not had these issues. I have a XLT model so, it was a big upgrade for me, the factory unit I had was bare bones with a 4" screen. I don't need a SIM or another plan, I utilize my Wifi hotspot on my phone and it auto connects every time. I have both steering wheel control and screen control of volume with visibility of volume level and not one back up camera failure on my end. The navigation works perfect for me by the way, you can move the Nav screen off of the home screen. Again, I would recommend contacting tech support.

SO HOW DOES THE BOLT SEAL ANY ORING CANT GET STRAIGHT ANWSER
@gliv2
@gliv2 Жыл бұрын
The bolt does not seal the oring, it prevents the cap threads from turning. It screws on like a standard gas cap, that seals the ring.

Are you kidding me?! I was just about to place an order for the CS25T. The Anytone AT-5888UV III has a similar problem - low output mic! Boring out the hole, and aligning it to the aperture did nothing. Previously, I had the TYT-9000D and that was absolute garbage and the mic was outright defective. Essentially, there are no other 222 MHz radios. It’s nice that you salvaged the radio, but for most, it defeats the purpose of having such a small radio, and having to outfit so much just to increase the mic output. Thanks for the honest review!!

One issue has popped up. The transceiver seems to forget the volume level it is on. When you turn it on and open the squelch the volume is at maximum when your volume knob is turned all the way down. You have to reset this has happened three times.
