I just installed a set on my 2020 klx 250. Id be very ,very surprised if they didn't fit the 300. Every thing else from a 250 does and vise versa.

Thanks for your questions. This engine cover is a good basic protection to protect your engine from debris, rock and vertical sliding under your bike. But additional Crash Bars and sliders can provide more comprehensive protection. If you are traveling on rougher surfaces such as forest roads, installing bumpers may provide additional protection.

Just installed this. You can reuse the oem plate light to retain the connector pigtail. To keep the oem you have to drill out the hole that the plug and wire goes through. The hole is too small for the connector to pass through.

Can't the brace be placed higher to maintain clearance so not branches, rocks, mud stock? Most stable Dual Sport on highway: 701 Enduro 2021-23 + 690 Enduro 2023, FMX 650 Sm due to it's weight. Properly set up CRF450L was surprisingly stable at highway. But almost all DSBs have been unstable at highway speeds. XR650L KLR650 KLX300 DRZ/DR are not sold in Eu. Only old XT/TT, XR, DRZ/DR + street legal Enduro/DS by Gas Gas KTM Husqvarna which raises questions about stability +Low weigh: check out Max Hazan KTM 950 310lbs🤘

What is the feature, does DR650 become more stable at highway speeds? After testing e.g Crf300L on highway + riding several DSBs with the same dilemma local dealer said that they are not heavy like naked/sport bikes, the front (knobs) don't plant at highway speeds, and that fork braces were used a lot in the 70s. Also looking into Scotts/GPR/Msc steering dampers (common in MotoGP) flexx rod ends

Will the brace hit the mudguard under full compression? Doesn't look like there will be a lot of clearance there...

Hi, don't worry, the fork brace will not hit the mudguard. We haven't seen this situation in many of our test and many customers who bought this product did not report this problem. Thanks for watching!
