Why was Mike not attacking into Rogsci? He has two decks that care about life total and are turbo. And attacks into the midrange deck that doesn’t use its life total?

I think the first attack got him focused on griffon and when the gamble discarded the underworld breach he assumed Noah was out of the game

Didn't the Heliod player miss like, several triggers at the beginning? He gained 2 life off of the search ability, but didn't apply any 1/1 counters on creatures

Feels like Noah got baited into a big mana hand off of the crypt and ancient tomb. The deck REALLY cares about its pips. Imperial sealing for command tower might have been the correct move because it would have put flusterstorm online and with the ancient tomb in hand he would have had enough mana to go through the spellseeker line by turn 3. Alternatively, you can get a turn 2 The One Ring which is pretty solid and may be the best option due to a lack of turbo decks in the pod.

Kind of a good thing Hidden didn't have a free removal, pretty sure the BOP should have been tapped to cast Atraxa and wouldn't have been available for the DT anyway. Need 4 colored pips not just total 7 mana, still fun game. Good to see low color decks do well.

If you want to watch paper magic, look into channels that show more clearly what the cards are. cEDH channels largely assume you know the cards and what they do, since the format has a lot of the same cards in many decks

How do you actually scry/view the library? When you click "view top card" and whatnot, the filter etc appears right over the exile and graveyard zones.

Generally I just drag the top card to the off screen portion of the battlefield and then and either move it back on top or put it to the bottom

Flesh Duplicate should have copied mammoth and immediately killed the seedborn muse. That's the only way they had any hope of taking back control of the game. The mammoth would still be there to generate lots of value on the following few turns.

Hidden should seriously review this video.. the ordering of casting his spells was awful, he missed A LOT of value with birgi in one turn and kessig in the following turn. Luckily for him was not punished

I did realize after the fact on birgi, but I did hold off on kissig as Noah was trying to not draw off remora so I felt the added cards wasn't worth Noah drawing

you need to re-read the red terror as it is NOT all will be one on a creature. All will be one: does damage when you put a counter on something the red terror: puts a counter on itself whenever a red source deals damage

It’s more like a back up Ob, if you ever felt like you want such a thing. It does loop with All Will Be One. So in a situation where Ob is locked behind a Drannith that you can’t remove, it may have a chance to shine. In my build I just run another removal spell though because it offers more versatility with the same endgame.

2 deflecting Swat dont cancel itself tho. Noah’s Swat resolves first and then Hidden’s Swat resolves so he can just redirect it

@@DeadOnBoardMTG You can have your deflecting swat target their deflecting swat Then, when your deflecting swat is resolving, you make their deflecting swat target your deflecting swat as the spell is not off the stack until it's completely resolved. When it's their time for swat to resolve, there will be no legal target and will be taken off the stack. So it's another way of canceling out a deflecting swat with your own deflecting swat.

The Nadu player walked so the Kinnan player could run. The unfortunate truth of the lightning greaves turn is that it king made the Kinnan. Homeboy literally killed himself to ENSURE the bird couldn’t play. After the table chose to use its counter spells on a greaves, the Kinnan was able to play almost freely knowing that a large portion of the tables interaction was used up. But I more heavily agree with a previous comment made. The real winner here is rhystic study lol
