ATC: Warm/Cold regulates the water temp to 100F, warm/warm (100/75), Cold/Cold (70)

Update on mine…I don’t think it indexes anymore. I guess using it pretty heavily and loading it down with some large loads sped up the break in process!

By the way, catalyst was off, quick wash cycles always do a short automatic catalyst treatment for some reason. I’ve even seen drummerboy’s kenmore catalyst do the same thing on the express wash cycle.

@@MatthewJames-st5wv you’re welcome, I think I might be wrong. I am probably most likely not wrong because I’ve noticed that on other cycles like the hand wash cycles on drummerboy’s catalyst. Try the quick wash again but with the catalyst on to see if I am correct. Edit: just do a small load and use default settings with the accuwash.

@@MatthewJames-st5wv The cycle chart I wrote up says Catalyst always runs on Quick Wash and Hand Wash. The KA agitator won't destroy the transmission. It may put a bit of *electrical* strain on the motor if fully loaded for a given water level ... but probably not in this instance being that the load was very small for the level you selected.

This is so lovely. I have a kenmore dryer 2003. The washer partner got ruined in a basement flooding incident, and was replaced with an Amana washer. It is now really dirty due to another flooding, and may not even work anymore. I am going to try and clean it up. I was wondering if I could find a kenmore washer to match my dryer if the AMANA doesn’t clean up/work. Do you think that’s a good idea? Your new set is amazing. So jealous! ❤

@@vincenguyen1 No, the kitchen Aid agitator makes it equivalent to the fast/fast agitation due to the larger base. Therefore it is HEAVY DUTY. KitchenAid washers use slow agitation and brand it as heavy duty. Please read up more on kitchen aid washers.

I have a mobile home and the laundry area floor is like what yours used to be. Any old school bottom suspension tub machine like this will shake a lot during spin and I feel the house shake during the initial ramp up. Ive been forced to use newer style hung suspension machines as they do not vibrate my home like that. Id love to have my floor reinforced like yours but I have doubts my very cheap landlord would wanna do that lmao.

If you do a full load with a straight vane agitator it does not do a good job turning over the clothes I did a full load of towels using this agitator and it had a hard time turning over a full load of towels

@@Bill-u9h Correct. SVA is more suited for small to medium loads, where it performs exceptionally well. Large loads need DUAL ACTION
