can one easily install the benches at a higher level, say 36" off the floor in order to access the higher, hotter heat? how high of the sauna floor are the control knobs on the heater?

can i take my cell phone in the sauna and a speaker?
@maeganbecker57804 ай бұрын
I just got my sauna. My heater clunks and then immediately clunks again and turns off. Then I get it on…wait about 10 min to check on it only to find it had turned off again. Sometimes I sit in there and find it turns off on it own a few minutes later. I am not sure what it is happening or why it isn’t staying on. Any help would be appreciated.

Where does the condensation from the steam ultimately drain to? Down the floor boards to the apartment below?
@Hello_its_thorАй бұрын
It’s actually a sauna not a steam room so there is no steam just heat
@Monkeyseemonkey79Ай бұрын
@@Hello_its_thor it's not an infrared sauna - it is designed to be used as a steam/wet sauna if the owner chooses. Look at the product page - they offer a bucket and ladle as an accessory and the product description reads 'Enjoy this sauna wet or dry. Simply add water to the stones to create a wet sauna.'

How do i get rid of this thermostat all together? My sauna only gets up to 170 degrees
@jmeurman6 ай бұрын
The seat is way too low. Feet should be at the level of the top of the stove. Sauna basics.

we built this on a platform deck so it has a riverview. a lot of air is coming up thru the floor. can we insulate underneath? The water for steam drips black dust underneath the heater. Is it safe to insulate if so, what with? also we have an electric heater inside and it did not come with a pipe to let anything out of the ceiling nor did the instructions have anything about it. is it needed? tx very much.
@chrisa79023 күн бұрын
I wouldn't see a need to insulate it underneath tbh, also your electric heater won't need a stove pipe as it doesn't produce any fumes like a wood burner does

I have a harvia wall heater with my Almost Heaven sauna, does it come with a wire temperature sensor ?
@nicholassarakatsannis33045 ай бұрын
Yes. It is coiled inside the bottom of the heater. Apparently many people overlook taking that out and fastening it to the wall.

Also where you install the thermostat matters. How much rock you use, rocks hold the heat and can keep the sauna warm longer.

I'm currently building this, and trying to understand where to put the thermometer and temperature gage. The instructions as I read them, one says 18 inches, one says 14 inches and then the other sheet says 6.25 inches. Can you have a demonstration with the temperature gage installation and thermometer? I've searched KZfaq for a visual and would be nice to have specifics for these items!
