And i know this is a push and its quite confidential, but do you mind sharing how much one can make as an advocate on average. Im done with my bcom law degree. I will be starting my two year llb degree at Unisa and afterwards pursuing the advocate route, i just want some motivation. And do we write the same bar exams as those pursuing the attorney route? Thanks

It depends on what kind of matters you do. We invoice a lot of money actually. It's just expensive running a practice. Chambers will be the death of juniors that's really the only thing setting us back.

Hi Thari - I really enjoyed your video. I would please like to ask you a question. Do you think I would be prejudiced if I apply to more than one bar for pupillage? I am considering applying to two bars as I can afford to relocate to both cities and I have support structures there. I am doing so with the higher hopes of getting accepted. Hello. ❤️❤️What would prejudice you is applying to one bar and not getting in . Apply everywhere my love... Apply and then you have a bigger pool to pick from when you get accepted. It's never ideal to apply to one bar coz what of you don't get in ? Then you have to wait for the next year

Hi Thari, why would you call your client a Popeye on social media? And why would you say the Defendant can threaten your Plaintiff, who he slept with, and not you? Are you not causing more harm and embarrassment to your Plaintiff with those comments? Especially considering that revenge porn is such a sensitive topic? I'm really just confused because your comments seemed very insensitive to your Plaintiff and to the case....

Thank you so much. . Lol my only advice is study hard,if they give you potential questions make sure you cover those topics. If there are no potential questions try answer everything even if you are not sure. You passed your LLB so you should be fine.

As someone who wants to apply for pupillage next year I can state this as a fact, when it comes to info on pupillage, it's you and other two ladies with channels that help us, the aspirant pupils, with tons of info. Thank you for the positive feedback. I appreciate It. I did my pupillage back home in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga & then I moved to Gauteng immediately after admission to practice this side. Better opportunities, PABASA is aligned with Pan Africanism and supporting black legal practitioners (particularly women) I love that and that contributed to my decision.

Will it be advisable to start as a prosecutor and then became an advocate afterwards. Because with prosecutors the NPA pays salary for the first year. So I can be a prosecutor for like a few years then become an advocate?
