What about when you go to sell the house and it's impossible to inspect the sheathing from the attic because it's all covered in spray foam and the Bank won't give you a losn because they can't see the state of the roof.
@KyleSonSprayFoamInsulation21 күн бұрын
Tell me the name of the bank that won't approve a loan on a house that has been insulated with spray foam. We've been doing this for 12 years and never had a customer call us and say they can't sell there house now that it's been spray foamed. We also spray foam many new house builds that have multiple inspections done by the bank during the building process. This would very quickly reveal itself as a problem if the banks had an issue with it.

This is an ST1 gun with a B chamber and a 1.5 tip. Basically the same as a 4747 in a fusion AP gun
@markross36803 ай бұрын
No one has the proper PPE on !! As a foamer I know this you should be 25 feet from the gun with just a full face mask and while holding the gun you should have a air line and fullface mask setup and at min a battery pack air purifier fullface with suits.. and flashing like that on the ground you need a min of a half inch pass !! To get the proper fusion your looking for in your next pass just saying from experience
@KyleSonSprayFoamInsulation3 ай бұрын
Not completely correct in your statement. I'll give you that I (holding the hose out of his way) should technically have an air line respirator on due to my proximity to the sprayer. What you can't see in the video is that this is a wide open garage with plenty of cross ventilation. Also, what you apparently can't see is that the sprayer is in fact using a full face respirator with an air line to it. With regards to the flash pass thickness. We aren't doing this with the intention to get a good bond to the next pass of foam. Let's face it, the 5" of concrete on top of it should hold it down, lol. This is only to stabilize the gravel substrate to prevent the topcoat pass from "turtle-shelling". From our experience of doing hundreds of these over the years, this id what works best for us. If you want to do a 1/2" pass be my guest, that's your prerogative.
@loganjames51843 ай бұрын
You must not have much experience in spraying ground then. If you don’t do this flash pass you will have the dirt lifting off the ground as the foam cures making big air pockets. Having done hundreds of these applications I am also speaking from experience
