Really like the battle report and can't wait to see more! I will say I know it is a lot more work but the overhead view gets a little stale. A few angles shots to show position and show off the wonderful paint jobs would have been great. Just my option.

I think you used the "shove" result on the comabt trees as "dash" results. For example around minute 17:00, when you resolved Anakin vs. Maul. Anakins first step on his combat tree is 2 Damage and 1 shove (push the defender 1 and follow up if wanted). The symbols look quite similar but aren't the same.

@@seansparkman23 you are correct about getting two actions per turn. Advancing and Dashing by themselves are not actions however. There is the Move Action, which you can use to climb, advance, or dash with a unit (the characters in the unit don't have to make the same movements as each other, but each can only do one with the Move Action). A unit can only make one Move Action per activation. But some abilities can grant different types of moves separate from a Move Action (such as Force Speed or Jet Pack)

Ok ... first thing is with your objectives on such narrow terrain pieces the first charcter on that level will literally be unmoveable for the rest of the game as shoves only 'move' the affected character until they hit the edge of that level then stop. No pushing or pulling off . Even if you wound the character it will be impossible to contest that objective as theres no space for another model on the same level and even units around the bases within 2 don't count as not the same level .... I made the same mistake in my first game too .. now we only put higher terrain pieces that have space for multiple characters to contest an objective .

You can push/pull people off of terrain, you just have to be able to shove them FULLY off the terrain. If they would overhang at all then they just stop so they are fully on the terrain piece still. Additionally, you can always contest an objective (as long as you are unwounded) as long as you are within Range 2 of it, regardless of elevation, models that are on the same elevation as the objective just have priority when it comes to control of the point. So if the model on the platform was wounded and you put two models underneath it (within Range 2 of the objective), control of the point would flip if nobody else was on the same elevation as the objective

You do indeed each have a deployment edge, but also the cards showing which objectives are active is oriented "facing" the player who won the priority roll, so in Struggle 1 for Shifting Priorities the 3 in the middle are always active and only one next to each deployment zone, you guys rotated the card 90 degrees.

Fun fight! Love watching the Lumineth do their thing. FEC is also fun to see. One thing I noticed is the shrine Luminor actually doesn’t let you add +1 to a cast, it only lets you reroll.

At 44:00 the pick a unit to fight again with keeper needs the unit to have fought once to be eligible. And you can't break a sequence to activate an ability so can't have death damage allocated on a keeper then interrupt and choose to give a unit fight twice then. Just FYI

It was. Average damage after saves for 6 horrors with the charge bonus plus all out attack and feast day is 28.89 against a 4+ save, 21.67 against a 3+ save either scenario that’s enough to kill it after an average 6+ ward save

@@Highgroundgaming1 Keeper has a 5+ ward. Sigmulator puts odds at killing it at about 33% with 6 horrors with the extra attack so I wouldn't say you got unlucky at all.

In the report it looks like you were in 3“ of the mirror. Also the roar could have been successful and the redeploys better in favour of Slaanesh. Just a very risky play there. Also check mathhammer on 4+ to hit vs the keeper. You were also lucky before that Slaanesh just had 11 depravity. During the game you complained so much about Slaanesh´s strength (while playing fec lol), gotchad your opponent with a blizzard and also blamed dice so many times…

You need to kill a model with Crypt Infernal Courtier to trigger +1 dmg on Crypt Flayers. Dealing damage alone does not activate his ability.

be careful when returning models via chalice, i dont think you could return that many models to the almost obliterated unit 14.2.1 Returning Slain Models Some abilities allow you to return slain models to a unit. Set up the models, one at a time, within 1" of a model from their unit that was not returned to the unit earlier in the phase. Slain models can only be set up within 3" of an enemy unit if a model in the unit they are returning to that was not returned to the unit in the same phase is already within 3" of that enemy unit.

Flayers being so dependent on the buff from the courtier is what holds them back. The courtier having 4 attacks hitting on 4's and having to kill a model for the buff can be kinda dicey. Always all-out-attack the courtier attack if possible.

I played 2 games so far with my FEC. They feel very broken to me. Ushoran is insane, horrors are insane, even ghouls hit hard. I'm curious to see if GW does one more balance update before the new edition.

Fun battle report, thanks! Surprised it was as close as it was considering the apparent early mismatch - the Gloomspite List was much more optimized than the Stormcast list, and then Gitz gets the double into 2. That Blizzard and Comet helped level things fast!

My bad, misunderstood the model selected during the presentation (X2 fault). There is a mistake regarding the Endless Nightmare Battle tactics (bring back 6 slain models). Only 4 models were being back (2 from rallying +1 from deathly invocation +1 from the gravesite being nearby). The 2 wolves add with the pack alpha doesn't work since you "add models" not "bring back slain models". Also, it's complicated to be sure with the top caméra, but only Vyrkos vampire can do the Pack alpha, so Laïka cannot do it and I'm not sure that Belladamma is in range :/ That would mean that the score is tight at the end of that turn. Anyway, great batrep and since upgrade on the content, especially the audio part 👍 Best regards
