The way I see it they have to pair fel-scarred with cycle build and aldrachi with innertia build and tune them to be close to each other in terms of dmg. That way the boomers with decrepit old fingers which have been complaining they cant remember more than 3 button rotation can play fel-scarred and the gigachad large brain movement enjoyers can play aldrachi. Problem solved, everyone is happy.

i've been saying this since alpha, they are stacking waaay too many modifiers into a burst window and that's the wrong move, its been proven in other classes over time + the hero talents are just so bad. we had plenty of time to change it, but it's feeling kind of a dead end rn

Mage, dk, and spriest have such cool gameplay and visual, meanwhile the rest have boring gameplay with boring visual

I feel like there are still many classes that feel bloated and have too many abilities (shifting power, soul rot ...), but DH is the worst imo

I'm guessing it's intended to help boost our sustained single target damage on boss fights...not something that's supposed to help on open. I love the idea of different effects depending on the order you play certain abilities...but in reality those abilities are on cooldown half the time so it just stops your rotation dead while you wait for say blade dance to come up, or you have to hold it till BD comes up. Maybe if it reset the CD on blade dance so you could do your 'pattern' right away it would be a bit less frustrating... but even then, so many stacking damage windows..

I don't play DH but the fact it's a 2 spec class with 2 hero choices is very meh, especially as lizards got a 3rd spec on their expansion release.

Considering how fast TWW is coming, it's hard to hold on to hope that Fel-Scarred will be tuned. Even if it's not, I'm going to be that DH that won't go Aldrachi for so many reasons but mostly because it feels awful to play.

I always picture the person's face listening to this conversation from the hallway like 🤨 On a serious note though as a casual player who just started a couple of months ago I hope Dh is good to play as when the expansion releases because it's the only class I'm particularly enjoying to play!

Its so bad that i will switch to enhancer. How should you pull this off in +20 or higher or even in pogs. Same classdesigner as rogue…. Both herotalenttrees are shit🤷‍♂️

As someone who's late to the game, is this still applicable?

Yeah was thinking maybe they would allow blade dance to vacuum the soul fragments, immolation aura, or vengeful retreat while going into fel rush. Or remove the fury cost for throw glaive and allowing it to drop a soul fragment when being thrown. But when you change the later for the other it can either being beneficial for a straight forward rotation or hinder the buff time entirely. Alot to contemplate when we move closer to the expansion date.

I usually use fel blade to reconnect with the target after a fel rush or VR. so to use Fel blade to scoop up soul fragments makes 0 sense to me and would greatly affect my play style.

Does this means that any character can play in any realm ?

I want to play DH so bad, but with what I’ve been reading and hearing all alpha/beta, I just don’t know. I think I’ll level my Monk and play all 3 specs, and keep an eye on DH until further notice. Here’s my thoughts. If Fel Scared is going to remain this bad. Delete it entirely.

In my opinion the best option is to give us the combo point layout for Aldrachi Reaver, so we can easy track them and to gain this „combo points“ every second CS gives us that kind „combopoint“. This way they could get rid of the randomness of the soul fragments.

The devs hate the class... they are giving monk double jump, there is nothing left.

Hope they will fix dh… having so much fun with this spec but TWW is not looking good. Thx for the update ✌🏻

I don't understand why they had to do this to Havoc after Dragonflight honestly. It played perfect in seasons 3 and 4 and was probably the most coherent and non janky the class has ever been. Classic Blizz with the "If it ain't broke, break it"

I main DH and Paly and I might have to dump them since I started playing back in BfA with the misses.

if they wont fix those things AND buff fel scarred to be at least a competitive option i might be playing my dh as an alt in TWW and switch to fury warrior or even resto shaman (if it gets more good changes) so sad I want to play dh but if the player population shrinks they might see that they have to change their ways..

What I dont like about DH atm is how badly it seems to scale. We will be amazing in the beginning.. then fall off to the bottom tiers by the end of the exp.

Looks like, for he first time since Legion, I will be making an alt and finding a new main. In all honesty, DH really doesn't bring anything to group anyways. Always such a PIA to get groups unless I make them. DPS is average at best. We don't bring a lust. That 5% debuff isn't really noticed at all. I stuck with the class for so long because it was fun to play. That fun just doesn't make up for the lack of everything else now. Maybe I will finally go back to my ret that was my main before Legion came out.

I die enough using Felblade, they shouldn't make me use it more. Oh wait, I'm that one player who refuses to play Aldrachi because she wants to play Fel-Scarred even if it's poo

Scared honestly. Bc there ARE other classes that ARENT broken and are playing/looking great. Going into a brand new expac with a broken class just makes everyone not want to play it. In the long run leading to even less help for the spec based on popularity.

Following the DH changes from afar on the beta and getting increasingly concerned as we get closer. Hope they fix all of the issues as this was going to be my main.
