This is the most gut wrenching skate to witness, the grief and pain is palpable, and watching it all these years later does not diminish the sadness. I am so thankful that Daria is a replica of Sergei who lives on in her ❤

Some disparity in marks there! I agree with the 5.0-5.2 range. A good skate! Some struggle on the lutz but very clean otherwise. He was competing in a strong field but I think he was undermarked overall.

I can not stop crying ..........I know people are so touched when their daughter patted her on the back which was heartbreaking, but when they pan over to her wiping tears from that beautiful little face made me cry a litte harder

Wow, somehow stumbled onto this and I feel like I just watched her go through all the stages of grief in one beautifully intricate and powerful performance. That ending with her arms raised & walking towards the light almost like she was trying to somehow reach for him. Wew, I haven’t cried like that in a while.

There was a point where she was on her knees, lifting her arms up, as though she was letting him go. At the end, her arms are lifted again, almost as though she's trying to reach him & can't. Every time I feel the need to cry, I watch this video. She is so beautiful. Then watching Daria patting her mother's back, I just lose it every time.

Uncle Dick (Button) is the reason I can identify jumps. He would simply name the jump, and I could rerun the “tape” over and over until I could see it’s distinctive features.
