I’ve had a fallen out with my friend group and I’m pinned as the bad guy all because one of them lied or exaggerated their version of the truth and now it’s left me deeply hurt knowing that they thought so low of me. I won’t go into much detail cause it’s personal but the more I thought about what happened I started to see thorough the person that I thought I could trust the lies and manipulation that pinned me as the bad guy, and now I feel that I have nothing much to lose and I’m glad I still have some very few friends that I could trust and talk to because they actually believed and helped me. I then looked back at prices speech of the whole “history is filled with liars” and the concept of one good trick and lie to create a lot of drama and shit. I know it’s nothing compared to war and it’ll all blow over soon for me, but I am still pissed of being backstabber by people I thought were friends and allies. I hope everyone else has close and good friendships and please be careful of who you trust 🙏

This game was chock full of cold ass lines.

You gotta actually conceptualize the shit these two are going through. in the last mission the only other 141 agent we see was an auzzy 🇦🇺 named Rook who tried to drive them both to safety and he died because of it. imagine how many more died before that. like really think about it. there were about 10 agent who went to the mansion in the forest with ghost and Roach. all dead during the battle. And with that observation in mind. every task force 141 agent could be presumed dead.. like actually think about that. every single person who knew the truth about sheppered is either dead or in hiding and its only 2 ground soldiers and a pilot left. whats even more disheartening is by MW3 that's still everyone that's left. you end up working with the old russian army that you once fought with during the civil war in MW1. now turned mercenary PMCs just to stay alive. no wonder this guy also ended up going through some kinda philosophical speech every now and again.

MW2 and 3 were way less realistic/tactical but man I love that. The power fantasy of getting revenge on Mac and Shep was worth it imo. It’s like playing a great 80’s action movie.

Man fuck this modern tacticool shit where everything has to be bogged down in realism and grim gritty gritty grim. Give me this old bombastic nonsense, give me that action movie shit, it was a thousand times more fun. Yeah, the new stuff has it's moments, but this was on a different level. Maybe it's nostalgia, maybe it's my tastes, but I stand by it.

i just beat MW2 like 1 hour before posting this comment and i gotta say this is like a top 5 speeches of all time in a video game, the old MW stories are 100x better then the garbage that been put out lately, the only good new MW story was MW(2019). i also realized too that the stealth mission in the old MWs were amazing, not slow paced or boring like the new ones cus in the old ones you can go 100% stealth or gun blazing but the new ones you have go stealth or the enemies will kill you instantly or you'll have to reset from last checkpoint.
