You're great at these short, informative videos! Would love to see more videos on different topics. I'm 6 days out from an ulnar nerve decompression surgery. I could have used some of your tips and tricks! My hand has been weak for a while so I'll start using your shampoo tip today. Thanks!

Watch out for your opposite shoulder. That will really suffer after several weeks... If you don't have any help.

Had both my wrists and right ankle done at same time. I had a lot of pain and was totally unable to help myself or do anything for myself for weeks. Also could not return to work as I am a nursery teacher.

WILL MY STRENGTH COME BACK OR INCREASE AFTER HEALING FROM THIS CARPAL TUNNEL PROCEDURE?

It's a lot easier without the accompanying agonising pain, also I couldn't open ring pull cans as two hands are required, and I haven't the strength in the uninjured hand to pull back. Very tired as well as the body puts the energy inyo healing the bone.

One thing to mention on your video. You are using all your fingers to do stuff. I have a broken wrist in a cast on my wrist and my fingers cannot be used. So the video is a little misleading

Thank you SO much for the suggestion of OB vet gloves. This was my second carpal tunnel surgery and I didn't know about them the first time. In fact, I just told my surgeon and he had never heard of that and loved the idea. So much easier! Thank you. Thank you!

Ouh darn... The most important one. A hack for when you literally need to make an entire day trip to the fracture clinic since they're not local, and as soon as you come home, your toddler slips it right off just as easy as a sweater sleeve. It nearly falls off its so loose. So, any tips to remould the cast to get a tighter fit without needing to waste another entire day driving?

I was told it could take up to a year for the fingers to feel normal again. Different variables like how long you've had this numbness or pain, was the procedure endoscopic or traditional, and nerves heal very slowly, a millimeter a day I'm told, can play a role in how long it takes. Any procedure or surgery has always taken me up to a year to feel normal again. Keep doing your exercises and keep your doctor informed. With a little luck your nerve may heal faster...good luck!
