Has their been a bigger waste of talent and ability at 2-guard as Vince Carter? Everyone’s a fan of his high flying dunks and generational athleticism BUT nothing outside of a few all-star appearances (league needed to hype the T*ronto Rapt*rs), and a weak draft class rookie of the year. I don’t think anyone as talented as VC played as long in the league and accomplished as little. 2000: 3-0 Swept by the ancient Knicks with the decomposing corpse of Patrick Ewing in the first round. 2001: 4-3 loss in the second round against 76ers 2005: 4-0 swept by Miami in the first round (New Jersey Nets years) 2006: Lost 4-1 to Miami in Round 2 2007: Lost 4-2 to Cleveland and LeCryBaby in round 2 2010: Lost in ECF 4-2 against LeCryBaby with DPOY Dwight Howard and the Magic carrying the load 2012: 4-0 Swept by OKC in the first round after joining the Mavericks to Ring Chase with Nowitzki 2014; 4-3 loss to the Spurs in Round 1 2015: Loses in the second round of the playoffs (with Memphis) against Golden State 4-2. 2016: 4-0 swept in round 1 by San Antonio 2017: 4-2 swept by San Antonio AGAIN in round 1. 0x Scoring Titles 0x First-Team All NBA selection 0x NBA All-defensive team 0x NBA championship rings 0x MVP awards 1x Conference finals appearance being carried by the Orlando Magic with Dwight Howard NEVER averaged more than 46% from the field NEVER averaged more than 4 assists in a season despite being a ball dominant guard “Air Canada” NEVER averaged more than 1 block a game with all that wasted vertical. Played 1,541 games just to miss 12,046 shots, and 3,878 three pointers, and only managed 5 triple doubles in 22 years. Assist/Turnover ratio of 1.8. 6-11 in the playoffs Career Comparison: Terry Porter (bum), Kyle Lowry (washed), Hal Greer (plumber), and Jeff Hornacek (Beat by the Honkey???) VINCE CARTER IS WAS AND ALWAYS WILL BE A BUM.

He was a okay scorer with mid efficacy. Lazy defender, and had literally zero vision until much later in his carrer. Vince is remembered correctly. He quit on toronto, he did not win a chip for the nets. He was just kinda meh. Couple cool dunks yes. However that is not what makes a great basketball player.

people are too hard on him i mean point guard is his natural position he’s not a shooting guard and they put this narrative in his head that he needs to carry which made him take bad shots and it’s hard going from a winning team to a losing team and overall bad franchise but then the hype died down ty jones got injured and he played point guard and played well

To comment on the most dominant- Wilts MOST unbreakable record is not his points but his minutes. He averages 48.5/48 minutes during one season which is effectively impossible to break in today's game. He only missed 8 minutes the entire season and averaged over 48 because of overtime. It's definitely possible for someone to record a 100pt game though incredibly unfathomable. The right player in a overtime game is doable. But 48.5 minutes is truly impossible. Scott skiles record is definitely not unbreakable and you showed the proof in your video haha! The dude with 25 in 30 minutes. So that inclusion does not make sense though shout out to scott for bagging 30. It will 100% be broken within probably 30-40 years. I also must say some of wilt's stat lines are somewhat bogus as the record keeping was not reliable. Especially his steals, blocks, and rebound lines are very questionable. I must also say i don't care for most records becore the 60s, and really the 70s, as the league was really in its infancy back then and certain stats are not fully accurate. But really its because the records of the more modern game are much more impressive and interesting to talk about as well as more relatable. Moses malone record was a good shout, it's ridiculous. A similar one is john stockton career assists at 15'806 which is thousands ahead of everyone. Though it's breakable. Joel anthony in 2011 for the miami heat recorded no points, rebounds, assists, blocks, or steals in 29 minutes of game time. Truly an incredible feat- even Jontay porter betting against himself couldn't top that in half the time. Jose Calderon for the Raptors in 08-09 had a 98.1% free throw percentage that season missing only THREE out of his 154 attempts. The following season he had a below 80% FT rate. How he activated god mode for one season is insane and hes WAY ahead of the next best(95.81). A unbelievable stat almost Speaking on more modern records that are GENUINELY unbreakable is rasheed wallace in the 2000-01 season managing 41 technical fouls the season. This isnt really doable anymore because the rules now state that if you get 16 techs during the season you are suspended a game and every two techs after 16 is another suspension. Unless the rules change this is an unbreakable modern record. Russell Westbrook deserves a mention for the most recent incredible record- 22 points, 21 assists, 20 rebounds. That will likely will take a few decades to match. (Btw wilt recorded a 20-20-20 before him but wilt is different).

Wow… the first 3 min of this needs played for ALL LeBron James super fans who claim he’s “the GOAT”… they all say, even media members, Jordan “only” won titles because of Pippen… lol… Pippen played with Barkley AND Olujawon! Olujawon! And couldn’t help them get there.. he then went and played for the Blazers where he was “arguably” their best player! And couldn’t get it done.. also, let’s not forget, Pippen had the same team Jordan did in ‘94 along with Phil Jackson… Pippen BEGGED Jordan to come back! Man… lol.. keep these vids coming!

Lol right, Lakers trading for Westbrook just to have a "superteam" was such a horrible move. Everybody knew Westbrook was not gonna fit in with Lebron and AD. They shouldve gotten Buddy Hield instead when they had the chance
@thareelhelloagain16 күн бұрын
Westbrook fit in perfectly fine next to AD, it was just Lebron and Russell that couldn't play effectively together.

Harden's legacy is honestly sketchy as f*ck bc dude flopped and acted every time to get those free throws, you could see how embarrasing it was when they changed the rules and he still tried to get them without succeeding in it... It's gotten better now but dude knew how to get them easily and went with the flow... Like someone said, without free throws he wouldn't be an MVP
