I did civil engineering bachelors, worked for 3 years, did my 2-year masters in Europe and camelback to India. They are offering me 40k salary in India. Entry level salary for bachelor's in computer science is 30 - 40k, Now I am learning python and other software courses. Don't expect high salary in civil engineering if you work for a company, you have no future unless you do your own private projects.

To be honest iam the one who picked civil because of brother. Actually it's an interesting field if we do it practically. there is a gapi n between reality projects and inside classroom but here I feel during summer the students need to do internships to get knowledge I really accept this from mam.

It's not about job. The main problem is salary is very low starting salary is 8k to 10k and even with experience in top companies they still give you slow hike upto 15k to 20k after 10 years of working in harsh conditions. Instead do Bcom or BSc u can earn 25k easily as an accountant or graduate job. Why do Civil Engineering if the pay is so low.
