I’m just about to restart a cross stitch that has beaten me down a number of times. Before today I hadn’t heard of parking or confetti. This video has opened my eyes! I’m exciting to kick off again. Maybe this time I will be able to finish the stitch.

I've been looking and looking, and your video is by far the best. Thank you for the tips. Webcam makes much more sense I didn't think of that. Because I've been trying for like two hours each day setting up for my videos. Again, thank you!!!!!! :D

Don’t you waste a lot of tread by using the parking method?

❤😊I thank you for the methods used. It's a nice and neat way to get started. I used to start at the left upper corner. What a difference it will make. See you soon in the next video. 😊

Milesy: I have a question about the Light Effects DMC Thread.....I doing a Christmas full coverage and using for the most part the DMC cotton floss but my picture is that it has snow areas and I wanted your suggestion should I use the tent stitch with both the cotton and light effects using the loop start (the rest of the picture is full cross stitch) or should I attempt the light effects using the full cross? I hope this makes sense......thanks for any suggestions.

Not sure if this is a dumb question, but why do you go through twice as opposed to using 4 strands? Is it just because it's difficult to thread 4 strands through the eye of the needle? Thanks!

Milesy! I've watched about a dozen videos on tent stitch and yours is by far THE BEST AND MOST HELPFUL. The only thing that would have made it better is if you had somehow sent me a telepathic message a year ago when I first started figuring this out OR a month ago when I decided to try again and told me to watch this video. Oh and also, I had given up on the loop start, but watching you do it in this video has got me thinking I can do it. I'm gonna watch your loop start video, but I already feel like I have a head start on it.....hee hee hee

Where can I learn how to do that method of starting your thread? It looks useful but you do it so fast I couldn't follow it. Now I will watch the REST of your video. Thanks!

Social media channel no selling or linking. Legality on bottom of home page. Use a selling app. Suggest removing links. Do not give money to anyone. Can find free cross stitch patterns on the internet too. Consumer Beware.

Thank you gorgeous lady. Do you have a video on how to export a pattern from WinStitch to Pattern Keeper? Also In WinStitch, is there an option to zoom into a certain area of a pattern?

Thank you for the information. I love that you showed it so clearly, a nice close up of the fabric, it was really easy to see how to do this. I'm always afraid I'm going to miss count. This makes me more confident. You're articulate and a patient teacher and I like the music you choose. It's pleasant but not distracting. I have one critique, make your background more decorative, perhaps hang your finished embroidery work behind you and make it tidy looking. The rest of the video was great.

1:46 That flip looks familiar. It's a Munter hitch! I take it you could capture the end under the thread on the back side to help keep it in place as well.

FINALLY someone who stitches like me!!! Everyone else creates a half stitches, then comes back. I discovered that creates problems if and when you have to frog. Their top stitches are backwards from me too. Their top stitch slants to the left. Mine slants to right. I SOOOO agree with you.

Sure can tell you are left handed. So with the tool you do not need to split the thread

I was warned to wear a good mask when using mica powder. I noticed you cleared your throat a few times. You don’t want to breathe mica powder because it stays indefinitely in your lungs. Just a suggestion. To anyone that uses these powders . They are dangerous without a mask

Hey thanks for this review, most likely just save my family $33 + the tax cost, I've been looking to get my first stand, saw this one on sale and while it has good review, it didnt seem like anyone had used it for a while before reviewing it. Your honest commentary on it really helped me decided.
