Может ещё актуально. Старинная ливская обрядовая свадебная песня. Дуй ветер , ,гони лодку в Курземе. Курземчанка обещала мне в жены свою дочку. Обещала, но не отдала. Далее бесконечное количество куплетов. Настроение от грусти к готовности жениться без благословения.

I like this interpretation, the different emphasis in parts and the clarinet instead of the flute. The singing is such a high standard. What an excellent choir.

I've heard this sung by other choirs but this is by far the best and my favourite. There is such unity and passion in the blending voices. As I listen I see myself outside walking down the lane of a country home mid winter. I pause and look over the smooth snowy fields the stars shining down causing the snow to glisten, tracing my breath in the chilli night air, enjoying the stillness and contemplating life. Le Chœur des Jeunes IMPULSS "Nous sommes des choristes, jeunes, ouverts, cool et un peu fous"., du Centre Culturel régional d’Ogre en Lettonie sera en concert en France ce 7 décembre à Joué-lès-Tours. les deux villes d'Ogré ( à l'est de la capitale lettone Riga) et Joué-lès-Tours sont jumelées. De nombreux échanges et activités ont lieu dans le cadre de ce jumelage. www.lettonie-francija.fr/Concert-choral-Impulss-Lumen-Laulu-joue-les-tours-1439 Depuis 2012, à Ogre, sous le drapeau du Centre Culturel Régional, plus de 40 jeunes choristes se réunissent. Les voix des jeunes d’Ogre sont entendues partout en chansons.

Ann Bee I'm from Latvia. Is that so? Well, your choir was the best that I got to see. Shame I only started recording the third song, the first two were amazing. My mother said that koreans had an even better performance though, but I didn't see them and I can't find any other videos of this particular concert.
