Playing Prototype rn because I remember this game fondly as a kid

My San Andreas story is that one day my cousin came with his PS2 and the game to my house, and my grandparents came to visit with their dog, and it yanked the controller cable, threw the PS2 on the ground and scratched the disc and the PS2 laser Then I got my copy and it got scratched bad thanks to my PS2 Slim (they tend to do that)... Twice (I had 2 copies) Then I bought the PS2 classic on PS3 and not long after it got YLoD and never worked since ...Then I got the PC copy on steam

A the time I had to wait for the PC release which came out a year later. A friend of mine who had only a PS1 used to come to my home to play it. We took turns on the gamepad challenging each other at making the longest wheelie possible using a BMX. We then grew and lost contact. He passed a few years ago and this is how I remember him.

You really had to be there. For whatever it’s worth , don’t tell anyone you haven’t seen Scarface until recently while criticizing this game. The music , ascetics , and overall feel was something unseen in 2002.

Masterpiece, way ahead of its time. Just beat it for the first time in almost 20 years, on ps2. And I was so surprised on how well it still held up. Definitely still my favorite gta to this day.

San Andreas occupies my most prominent gaming memories next to Tony Hawk's Underground and American Wasteland. Still play around with combinations of mods for my OG Steam copy on and off through the years

Thank you so much for this Video! In my opinion, it's one of the best games of all time and even compared to the other GTA games, I think part 2 is just sensationally good. This is especially evident in the fact that it's from 1999 and it still works awesome today and has aged very well.

one thing i like about TPL in general, is all the like hints you see of the Precursor robot parts all throughout the game, like in the swamp, in the cave, etc. all really builds up to the final boss nicely.

Part of me really wants to pick up a CRT tv again, i've replayed these games so many times. But seeing your footage just makes me really wanna experience it that way again. Blowing up the image onto a massive tv just doesn't hit the same

There's nothing unreal about the dating in the game. That's how it is in the ghetto.

I for myself can say that I 100% the game about 20-30 times without any struggles or bugs like u complained about. The 360 spin u mentioned happens because your stick registered a downwards input so Spyro turns down. It's sensitive nothing more. And I know what I'm saying with my over 300 hours in total (don't ask, Sgt. Byrd speedruns)

About time you got around to the GTA series lol, I remember commenting on one of your videos titled something like “What’s new for Square Eyed Jak in 2016” or whatever it was asking if you were gonna do the GTA series and you replied to me saying some like “I’m holding out on that for a special occasion, and I don’t mean 10,000 subscribers when that happens” or something along those lines lol. I haven’t seen anything you’ve done in years and this video just popped up and reminded me that you existed and I’ll say I’m glad you still do. Good luck in the future

well you hit the spot on mark. if you aren't willing to put in the time in this game then you definitely hate dark souls and won't play it either. too much handheld gameplay in all the other skate games is what they strayed away from. if it's really that much of an issue you can change your pop speed height skater speed etc in the settings

I genuinely had fun with this game, wasn't close to being pro skater tho. At the end of the day, back when we had these games, we played what we had available so even though a game might suck in retrospect, it could have been fun to play at the time anyway. I think that should be taken into account when giving a rating

I've seen a lot San Andreas retrospective videos and this is the best one I've ever seen. It should be a 10 out of 10, though, because the experience truly does feel like it's once in a lifetime game.

good soundtrack good map well flowed gameplay, customizable characters maps. back in 2013 skate 3 couldn't have been any better. if skate 3 was the same it was then i would say it would win over skate 2 due to the bigger community privileges but without skate.ea skate 3 doesn't live up to it's potential.
